"This was the cheapest TV available. I bought it for a client, that is the reason why I chose this vendor. Overall the staff seemed unprofessional, I was given misleading information twice. This was crucial as to this being related to my employment any poor information I give to clients results in a loss of business on my end. The fact that the manager Mark had to get involved to get my order sorted out to begin with does not reflect well on the customer service as a whole. The TV worked, but it was a headache to obtain. ** Two Stars"

"I ordered a 60 inch Samsung LED TV from BuySquad.com and there were several issues that cropped up when dealing with them. First, my order was not confirmed until someone called me to have me approve the shipping insurance that is only detailed in their fine print. This insurance cost was 66$. Second, when the TV arrived, there were parts missing necessary to be able to mount the TV on it's stand AND on the wall. Someone had put some wood screws in there trying to pass them off as the mounting screws. I had to contact Mark at buysquad.com and he had the parts shipped to me with a 2 year warranty for the TV as well. (Still waiting on that warranty info) Once I finally got the TV mounted on the wall, I browsed the preinstalled apps (It is a smart TV) and found that the Netflix app was already signed in using someone else's name (Chris). This indicates to me that this is a refurb, display or otherwise used product which isn't disclosed in plain sight anywhere on the site at all. Suspecting that it was used, I have asked BuySquad if the TV is used and no one answered my question at all. The prices may be cheap and the lack of tax makes the deal sound good, but you are not getting new product when you order from these guys. Buyer be warned! EDIT** After seeing this review, BuySquad has resolved my issues and even offered to refund the full amount for the TV I bought. Instead I have taken advantage of the free 2 year in home warranty and they are also sending me a blu ray player for free due to the trouble. Thanks Mark!"

"I purchased the Samsung F8500 Smart Plasma HDTV after a considerable amount of research. After reading over a dozen reviews from professional tech web sites that tested this latest Samsung flagship model, and many other online reviews giving this set 5 stars,I made the purchase on Buysquad.com

The reviews read "Stunning, the brightest plasma set ever produced","The best HDTV of the year","One of best televisions we've ever reviewed","Absolutely awesome","Amazing deep blacks and accuracy of color","Breathtaking","Clearly one of the best 1080P sets ever manufactured","Power packed plasma shines brighter" and "Easily the best HDTV that Samsung has ever produced" are just a few of the quotes from the many reviews.Along with winning the Value Electronics 2013 Flat Panel Shootout in a closely fought battle with two Panasonic flagships.

I was a little skeptical that this set could measure up to all the hype. After receiving this HDTV,I can totally understand all of the rave reviews. To put it simply, the picture quality is really beyond stunning.Superb color accuracy, amazing rich contrast, inky deep blacks, breathtaking true whites and a very bright display.Motion blur is virtually non-existent.Cable content and internet streaming on this set in high definition is nearly flawless.I have not experienced any buzz sound from my set, that is often associated with plasma sets. The set is dead quiet.Image retention has also been non-existent.

For those who desire a set with an amazing picture, although stick with LED sets for fear of worry about these issues,I have had zero problems.Every aspect of this set has exceeded my expectations.I use it with a Tivo Premier XL4 DVR and Oppo Blu Ray player, and the results are amazing. The Panasonic flagship plasma sets are also top rated, and have great reviews, although I chose the Samsung for it's ability to have an amazing bright display, one of the shortcomings of many plasma sets.Although from reading the many reviews, you can't go wrong with either the Samsung or Panasonic plasma flagship models this year.It is an excellent year for plasma technology. If you are considering purchasing the Samsung F8500,I believe that you will not be disappointed.I am confident that this set will amaze you too.

"I bougth a Sharp QAquous 80 inch TV (LC80LE857U). When we put the unit on the wall (quite heavy) we found out the screen was malfunctioning..."here we go" I though. I called Buysquad to report the problem. They were very matter of fact and professional. They send a new unit (buy the insurance...)and took delivery of the damaged one in the same truck. Now I have a great unit on my wall and feel very good about Buysquad"

"Let me just say this has been a pleasure!!!
I have a 60" Samsung D series that at the time was top of the line. I chose that model because I could hook a harddrive directly into it and play media, even 3D media and it was flawless. I wanted a tv for my bedroom and this was a nice option that popped up on slickdeals for 358 shipped so I got it. I bought a WD Media player thinking I would need one to play all the different file types on my drives. When the TV came I hooked up the TV and probably 90% of them worked just fine.

The picture on this one is fine, I can't notice a ton of difference between this and my D series. I know its only 60hz versus 240 but everything is filmed for the most part at 24fps and at most 48, so a 60hz refresh isn't a big deal on a non 3D file. If I had to pick a downside I guess I wish it had more USB ports but thats pretty nitpicky. The remote feels pretty cheap, but all Samsung remotes I've seen aren't great. Overall the value of this tv is great and I'd highly recommend it. Buysquad next rounds on me!

"This new XBR-55X900A display is the best I have seen and the upscaling quality is noticeable. Despite numerous posts about lack of 4K source material, the screen picture is much brighter/vibrant and sharper with better color, yet smooth pixel-less for regular network broadcasts. Blu-ray disk movies are improved with sharpness, better color, and a picture that "grabs you", so I do not agree with some posts that the picture is the same as the 1080p TVs. The up scaling is noticeable.

Also YouTube is now offering 4K videos so you can see what new source material will look like. Not sure what the new Blu-ray disks with 4K mastering will do for this new 4K TV. Sony provides via mail 3 of these "Mastered in 4K" Blue-Ray disks when buying the new 4K TVs (See www.sony.com/RegisterMy4K) The biggest improvement for me was the exceptional sound quality and passive 3D. The difference between my 2 year old NX810 and this X900A is remarkable. Found BuySquad online and these guys made it that much easier for me.

My sound is better (from installed front mounted speakers) than I was getting using a Boston Acoustics sound bar (w/subwoofer) with my old TV. The sound is very close to my Bose surround sound system. Very happy with the new speakers. And yes my 55inch takes up by 60" entertainment center space or I would have purchased the 65" TV. But I am happy with the new speakers and the fact they are attached makes for a good looking TV. My wife is very happy as the new TV looks great with her furniture instead of a sound bar popping out of a wall or corner. These new speakers produce an exceptional sound better than any Sony TV I have ever had including those that had front mounted speakers. There are 6 speakers with a total 65watts

The 3D (passive vice previous version was active 3D using shutter glasses) is exceptional, as good as a movie theater with great 3D depth and a brighter picture (my 2 complaints with the NX810). Much better depth and much sharper than my previous Sony TV (NX810). Also the simulated 3D is also good. And the passive 3D is easy on your eyes. Just watched Avatar 3D and my eyes are not tired as they would be with an active 3D. 3D is now worth watching and the glasses are light on your ears as they are only a thin plastic (no batteries)(same glasses used in the local theater)

Price is steep but happy with the purchase, Thanks again BuySquad. I"ll be back in the future

"I was looking to upgrade from sony SXRD 60XBR2, which has been spectacular since 2006. I just felt it was time to upgrade to a large LED Flat screen with 3D (for my grandson :)). Ever since the2012 CES, I had been waiting for the new Samsung UN65ES8000. However, between the horrible reviews of the 60" version and the whole ES line for that matter as well as the fact that a best buy magnolia rep called it their "worst" TV, I gave up on the ES despite how nice I thought it looked aesthetically. That said the Sharp look is also very attractive, encased in a classic black enclosure which looks great with my black Omni mirage speakers.

In my search for the very best, I also came across the Sharp Pioneer Elite. I have seen great reviews of the Sharp Elite TV. I saw it at Best Buy, but they had its own special HD Blu Ray running in a separate area so it was difficult to compare to the others on display. Since I have noticed that the quality of the input makes a tremendous difference in the picture quality it made me feel that they didn't want a direct comparison. I am sure that it is a great TV as the reviews are great, but at a rather exorbitant price. While I could afford the $7000+, I simply couldn't justify the 3X cost vs the lc-70le847u. In fact, the other day I noticed that CNET had reduced the rating of the Sharp Elite from a 5 to a 4 star due to its excessive price and poor value. I'd be willing to pay 50-100% or so more for the ultimate picture, but not 3X. As I was finishing this review, Samsung just announced their UN75ES9000, a 75inch set selling for $9-10K. Looks very cool, but again at what price? Compare that to the top of the line 80 inch sharp (lc-80le844u) with outstanding reviews for under $5K. $9-10K for 5 inches less and shabby reviews for the ES line; are they serious?

Back to the lc-70le847u. All in all, this TV is quite impressive at 70 inches. I have found that the quality of the TV picture is directly related to the quality of broadcast. There are scenes that are as sharp as you could possibly imagine and others where the resolution is simply poor due to the broadcast/camera quality and no TV can make up for that. Blu Ray DVDs are fantastic. Even normal tv looks 3D. On the other hand, I can see the "softness" factor referred to in other reviews, but not enough to affect my overall rating. I bought the Disney WOW Picture calibration disc and have adjusted the picture to a very satisfactory setting. In addition, some one else provided some very helpful calibration settings which we were much better than the factory settings. I highly recommend you try his settings.

Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase all around I say if your looking for a TV try Buysquad and Enjoy!

"Packaging: The TV was well-protected in the box, this is very important because TV screens are fragile and package handlers are not always careful. Buying a TV online is a bit risky but the packaging is good enough on this TV for you to go for the online purchase and not worry about getting a TV with a cracked screen.

Picture quality: The quality of this TV is great, just what you would expect from a large company like samsung. I tested this TV by playing a blu-ray, a dvd and a video game. The blu-ray movie I watched was Despicable me, if you have watched this movie before you would know the cute little minions. The first thing I noticed was the color of the minions, the yellow looked brighter than on any TV I saw before, the colors were truly amazing (especially the bright ones). Another thing I noticed was the sharpness of the images whenever I paused the movie, the image that appears when I pause the movie looks like an HD JPEG which is not really the case with other TVs. The dvd I watched on this TV was an episode of Breaking Bad, I did this because I felt that judging the colors of an animated movie wouldn't necessarily be the same as a normal video. It was pretty hard concentrating on the TV when watching the DVD (if you're a breaking bad fan you'd know why) but I did my best to find any flaws. The colors were vibrant and didn't disappoint, there was so much detail in every scene partially due to the massive screen but mainly because the shades of each color are easily distinguishable which is a rare quality in non-samsung TVs

Sound: the sound produced from this TV was great but I always like to add a subwoofer for additional bass, the TV would still sound great without one but if you are going to invest a lot of money on this TV then you should invest a little more and have a complete system. The best top-quality, affordable subwoofer out there is the Polk Audio PSW10 it sells for around $105 on amazon, there is also the Yamaha YST-SW012 which sells around $90. Both subwoofers are top quality, I've tested both of them and they will not disappoint if you decide to go ahead with the purchase.

Special features: I honestly never use the special features on this TV, why would anyone use the built in microphone to get TV recommendations when it can be done manually a lot faster, it's kinda like Siri, it's fun at first but doesn't work all the time.

Design: This is the Gallardo of all TVs, it looks great on any wall or stand. I wouldn't mind buying a non-working TV and sticking it on a random wall in my house, its really slim and has a modern look.

Overall: don't hesitate buying this TV, you won't regret it, if you want to be 100% satisfied buy a subwoofer and the service at Buysquad was flawless.

"I purchased my big ticket TV from these guys based on the reviewers here on this site and also because they have one of the best prices around. Unfortunately, after I hung up with them I felt that I wanted a larger screen tv but this tv was shipping out the same day to me.

*** UPDATE ***

After writing this review, Frank, a customer service rep from buysquad contacted me and offered to fix the this issues I encountered.

He also offered to keep me in the loop on the deliver since I voiced my concerns about getting this large 90” TV in one piece.

I thought I knew how these low price etailers work but to be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised. These guys offer both low prices and great customer service as well. I expected the worst due to the reputations of their bigger named competitors.

My TV hasn't arrive yet so I'm still a little nervous, but so far I'm pleasantly surprised by their good faith and after sales service.

I just wish that they would charge a little higher and give automatic white glove service. I know its not standard but at my age, I cant lift this tv anymore. I would definitely use them over their competitors even if they price their items higher.

If the TV arrives in brand new condition, I'd be ecstatic because that means I would have paid substantially less for the same item at Best Buys or Amazon.

*** UPDATE ***

The TV arrived on Friday, 5 business days after I ordered it. I'm very pleasantly surprised. The TV is brand new and its production date is June 2013 which is fresh out of the factory. I was able to registered the product with the extended warranty I got with no issues.
I'm pretty happy with how things turned out and would definitely purchase again in the future.

"I was actively looking for the best deal on the new hot Samsung 75" LED TV. There were about 5 competitors on this. I called them all to see how legit they were.

i got the best feeling from this website buysquad. Gave them the order. Also make SURE to request white glove delivery so the tracker can at least bring in this $6,000 TV and bring it inside my house as and take out of the box so I can make sure everything is ok with the unit.

I was very happy to find the unit was in perfect brand new shap as advertised.

I saved a fortune of money and it got to me in 6 days.

Way to go people.

I will be back Christmas time for more...

"If you're looking for a big-screen TV of 60 inches or above, then Sharp should be one of the first brands you consider. I just purchased this unit at buysquad.com, and I AM SO PLEASED. The LC640 a very good combination of picture quality and value, and its replacement offers more of the same. In fact they're almost identical, and that's not a bad thing.
The 650 incorporates a couple of tweaks to the set's design and picture processing, as well as a few extra features. The highlights are an expanded Smart TV offering with Skype and Hulu Plus now standard, while in picture-quality terms both color and shadow detail get modest bumps. On the flipside, a smaller cabinet means sound quality is compromised a bit, and the TV's processing doesn't perform as well with interlaced content.
At its current price, the 650U is still a good deal, even if it does exact a bit of a premium over the likes of the worse performer that's still its principal current competition. I expect that competition to stiffen further over the next nine months as more makers enter the 60-inch-plus mainstream, but if last year is any indication, the Sharp 6 series will continue to remain one of the best values.
performed a hands-on evaluation of the 60-inch Sharp LC-60LE650, but this review also applies to the other screen size in the series. Both sizes have identical specs, and according to the manufacturer should provide very similar picture quality.
Part of my setup involved placing the LE650 alongside last year's LE640, and once I did so, the differences between the two units became apparent. The The LE650 has a much thinner bezel -- especially on the bottom -- and thus it appears to sort of squat on its stand. What has the company excised in order to deliver a shorter TV overall? The speakers have been moved from below the screen, and instead fire toward the back.
The 650 series is Sharp's entry-level model and does without some of the more involved features like a 240Hz refresh rate, 3D compatibility, and the four-color Quattron system found on step-up 2013 models like the 7 series. I wouldn't be surprised if only the electronics (and not the LCD panel itself) received an upgrade over the LE640. Other features include USB and DLNA media playback and built-in Wi-Fi.
The LE650 sports a new "Wallpaper Mode" that can display preinstalled artwork or photos from a USB drive when the unit is powered down. It's a nice touch, and the muted backlight level makes the image look less like a TV left turned on and more like room decor. Sharp assures us the power draw is minimal.
A carry-over from previous years is Sharp's excellent live help service, Included is a full onscreen manual, complete with a table of contents.
If there's one major change to this TV, it's better brains. While only select Sharp models from last year got the full Smart TV suite, in 2013 it has now been rolled out to the entire range -- with the exception of the 50-inch 6 series.
The TV now includes two smart modes too. Hit the Smart Central button and you'll see the marquee look of before, hit it again and you'll get a more traditional interface divvied up into categories -- video, music, games etc. Like most Smart TVs the games aren't much chop, and Sharp hasn't yet erected a store to buy new ones.
The Web browser functions, but that's probably the best thing you can say about it when the only control is the remote's cursor buttons. Add to this a sluggish response time and you could be quicker powering on a desktop before using this feature at length.
The Sharp 650U features five changable picture modes, a gamma slider, a full color management system, and an upgraded 10-point grayscale control. Also included is the ability to tweak the strength, from really smooth to even smoother.
The television carries four HDMI ports -- just like last time . which means you can connect smartphones. Analog connections (one component, two composite, one VGA for computers) are as complete as I'd expect. A pair of USB ports, one facing the side and one the bottom, rounds out the package.
Is the LE650's picture quality a significant improvement on the TV that came before it? No, but that's perfectly OK since its predecessor was one of the few LCD TVs. The LE650 has better color accuracy, particularly with skin tones, and it can render shadow detail a bit more successfully than the 640, but conversely its 1080i film de-interlacing got worse. The 640's strengths, including solid black level performance and the ability to handle ambient light well, remain intact, allowing this Sharp to outperform competitors like the Vizio E1i-A3.
Sound quality, on the other hand, is considerably poorer than it was last year. With the new thinner bezel, the speakers have a lower sound which can lead to less intelligible speech.
Click the image at the right to see the picture settings used in the review and to read more about how this TV's picture controls worked during calibration.
Black levels are very similar between the old and new Sharp, with the LE650 showing an ever-so-slight edge, particularly with high-contrast scenes. The two Sharps were the darkest in our lineup, apart from the Panasonic ST50, and the Vizio and LG were the weakest in terms of having the lightest black levels.
During "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part II," however, something unusual was happening between the two Sharps. The LE640 showed a preference for shadow detail on the right side of the screen (45:55) while the LE650 illuminated the left. In the LE640's case this turned out to be a matter of the TV creating false details in dark areas -- none of the other TVs in the lineup exhibited the same "unmasking". Shadow detail on the LE650, on the other hand, was very good, with both and subtlety in equal measure.
Overall the color balance of the Sharp LE650 was very good, especially in the cooler end of the spectrum. Blues on the Sharp were closer to the Panasonic ST50 during the images of oceans in "The Tree of Life." Greens and reds showed a tendency, but skin tones were quite good.
At the start of the Innocence chapter in the same movie, the mother lays down on the grass, and while her blue dress and pale skin looked identical to that shown on the ST50, the grass behind her looked somewhat blue. Switching to "Star Trek" sits at the bridge with a purple light over her, the effect was much warmer than on the LE640.
The blue-black problem, where black and near-black areas showed a decided bluish tint, did show its head occasionally. The competing Vizio E601i performed better in terms of near-black tone.
While the 24p playback test ("I Am Legend") was smooth, the 1080i playback test with its oscillating grid. This could create some artifacts with 1080i-based material originating on film, although they'll surely be subtle, so this isn't a major problem. The 650U's motion resolution is standard for a 120Hz TV.
Uniformity was an issue for the previous year's television, and it's no surprise that the issue hasn't changed on the LE650. While it was acceptable there were some issues in the top-left corner -- both black and color uniformity were off. However, both Sharp TVs performed better than the LG LM7600, which had very poor uniformity with yellow blotches of leaking light. When viewed off-axis the LE650 also performed identically to the LE640 with desaturated colors and blueish blacks.
The big Sharp is well suited to a bright space. It has a matte screen, and like the LE640 before it, performs well in a lit room with contrast and deep blacks equal to its peers'.
Televisions like the LE650 ably demonstrate why sound bars are becoming more popular -- the tiny bezel usually equals poor sound. Last year's LE640 sounded pretty good with a forward-facing speaker, but this year it's been tucked in and faces down. The result is a hollower, less present sound, and speech particularly suffers.
However, with rock music and action movies there has been a slight improvement in bass response. Compared to the other TVs in the lineup, the LE650 was nearer the bottom while the Panasonic ST50 came out best with full bass, clear vocals, and plenty of treble. The only TV that was worse than the Sharp was the LG LM7600.

I do not understand why you say that 1080i mode is not good on this set. Just purchased this model and my cable box looks much better when I selected 1080i than selecting 720p; actually, 720p gives some kind of flickering very obvious when seeing The Simpsons on FoxHD; 1080i looks perfect.
I recently purchased this model and would like to know if you can provide the Calibration/picture settings you used for the LC-60LE650U.
I also purchased a week later the 6500 which is the Costco version of this set. After using the video settings above, I am very impressed. The only disappointment for me is the lack of RCA audio outs, and having to choose between a 3.5 or optical. However, If I had a newer stereo this would be no problem at all. I have seen elsewhere some gripe about a glossy screen. Well, it has some gloss to it, but it hasn't been too much of an issue for me. For price and performance, I feel like I got a really nice set. the 650 does have the GenX panel and it has a slimmer bezel and a better Smart TV platform.I also read that it has beter black uniformity. I would pay a little more for the 650.

So I am happy with buysquad at the end because the experience from start to finish was spot on. The customer service people were able to answer my tech questions at ease. The trucking company that delivered the tv was ok (even though they were 1 hour late). Most IMPORTANT is I SAVED $415 OFF THE OTHER KNOWN SITES.

GOOD JOB GUYS...

"CLASSIC BAIT AND SWITCH. I ordered a Samsung UN65F8000 65" television which weemed to be pretty competitively priced. 24 hours after placing my order I emailed BuySquad since my order still showed a "pending" status. I received an email a few hours later telling me to call in. If I had wanted to call in I would have ordered it by telephone rather than online, but whatever. After waiting on hold for about 10 minutes a representative answered, confirmed my order, and mentioned that the "shipping insurance" charge was not included and he would calculate it for me. "Oh boy, here we go," I thought. He came back after a few seconds of doing god knows what to tell me that the shipping insurance charge would be $259 extra. When I promptly asked him to cancel the order he huffed and puffed and seemed surprised. I mentioned that the website had mentioned free shipping and there was no mention of shipping insurance being a required additional expense. He argued with me that it was clearly mentioned on their website and that he would through in a free HDMI cable to offset the charge. I told him I did not want to pay $259 for an HDMI cable and asked again that he cancel the order. Begrudgingly he did but I still wanted to let others know so they don't fall for the same crap."
