"I received the correct item but for the wrong vehicle. I ordered a custom sunshade and it came for a completely different make and model. Upon contacting customer service, they would not ship the correct item until receiving the original item back…but it would take them 3-5 business days to give me a return shipping label. This incurred delay of me receiving the product I ordered is not acceptable and terrible customer service for their mistake. To be honest, I will never order from car id again since this experience has been such a hassle. "
"The wrong item was shipped. I immediately called their customer care team and they were able to confirm by referencing the part number I took a picture of on the box and the product. I then had to go home, take more pictures to prove what was already painfully obvious and email them. From there it took 2 days to “approve” the return. Then another 3 to get a label to return. Then you have to wait for the product to arrive at their facility and be inspected before issuing a refund.
Prior to me even placing the order, I contacted customer service (chat) to ensure the product would fit as I feared it wouldn’t because it’s a newer model vehicle. They offered a guarantee to fit statement and I come to find out during this ridiculous return process, they don’t have a product that would fit my vehicle and their website was wrong. Just save your time and money by shopping with a more organized and customer centric company. "

"I have bought many things here, but unfortunately will not be buying anymore. Purchased a $1300 tonneau cover for my truck and it was damaged. The damage was small and you were not able to tell until the cover was installed. It had a dent on a corner which causes it to not align properly to the tailgate. Because I removed the product from the box and installed it, they could not get me a replacement. Even though I could easily repackage it. They offered me a measly $50 discount which is garbage. Beware getting any products from here. I will no longer. Also the cover was badged with a logo for "real truck" which makes me weary that it is a knock off. I have seen the product in local retail stores and it definitely has a different badge for the actual company that manufactures it..."
