"After reading several reviews, I thought it would be a good idea to Email CCG and ask if an item was in stock.

I did this before they opened Tues 03SEP, and they gave me the number 2368. Now it's almost 1 am on 07SEP, and they still haven't answered my question!

I am worried for anyone who orders from them if they can't give me a simple Yes, No, or will be back in stock soon answer!!!

"I ordered something from them. I didn't realize it was backordered until after I submitted the order.

I got onto their customer service portal and submitted a request for a refund. They issued the refund within 24 hours of me asking.

I was very worried that I'd never see the money again, but I can happily report that I did.

"Below you will see my original remarks. Today I tried one more time to get through to customer service (after no results from the BBB). To my surprise, someone answered and promptly issued me a refund! They were quick and courteous.

Apparently ownership changed hands a few months ago and the new owner and customer service are trying to make things right. I appreciate this quite a lot. My earlier experience was bad, today's turn around was impressive.

Original review:

Be very careful with this company for any purchase over a few dollars. Their site looks professional but they stole my money. Here is the story: I placed a pre-order for a Bowen Statue. First thing-- they charged me for the pre-order through PayPal even though their site says they only charge when shipping. Second, the statue never came. They said I would get one in a later shipment but they never received one and never sent it out to me.

OK, mistakes like that I can handle. But here is the kicker... they will not return my calls, e-mails or inquiries from the Better Business Bureau. So they kept my money and will not refund it. Now I am going through a State Agency... hopefully they will respond to them. If not, I will engage my lawyer as a matter of principle. It may cost me more money than I will get back but they have the nerve to just steal from customers and then never respond to anything. I have all the data from Paypal and their order forms to confirm it was never sent and I paid for it so once they are pinned down they won't have much choice but to pay... even if it takes a judge or threat of a trip before one. I am patient and will track this down but I fear they won't learn a lesson from it :( Buyer Beware!

"I didn't read the reviews until AFTER I ordered from CCG Armory. I have to say that I was now scared...over $110 scared! Well, I immediately called customer service and you know what? They picked up on the first call. Since I ordered over the 'Black Friday' weekend things were bound to get a little slow. The item was on its way from their warehouse a few states over. I had my order in my hands within 2 weeks...during the Christmas shopping season. I was also given order status updates from a 'Keith' who lived up to his word in every detail. So, I'm not saying that they had problems in the past, but my first experience was as good or even better than most. So, you can be sure that I will order again without fear! (Plus the fact that the prices were super low!) Kudos to the crew over there and a BIG THANK YOU to Keith! All the best!"

"This used to be a very good company but it has since changed. I used to be able to oder something on a Friday morning before going to work, I'd have the message that it had been sent when I got home and by Wednesday at the latest I'd have my order

Something has changed. I placed on order September 28, they billed my card on October 2 (in the past they only charged a card when something shipped) and nothing. I started sending emails at the beginning of November.. not a reply. I called them and only got an answering machiene. Further emails were also ingnored

I was a little concerend that this company would not respond to emails, which seems very unusual for an internte-based company. I was further distressed when I only got an answering machiene when i called during normal business hours.

This shady behaviour should send red flags up for anyone so naturally I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge and get a refund.

sooo by February I should have my refund. Thank for nothing CCG Armory


I am hoping I will get a refund and not get shafted.


Normally, most companies will tell you something is wrong after a month they charged your card. But not these guys.

EVERYTHING on my order was supposed to be in stock at the time I orderd it, so why the delay?

PLEASE do yourself a favor and keep your money away from these crooks.

"Run....don't walk from these scammers. Had 4 different orders with this company and it was nothing but a big run around. So i ended up canceling all 4 orders and they only refund me for 3 orders. When contacted they replied saying that are records show that you were fully refunded. I kept emailing them trying to call them on there BS lies but had gotten no replies. Called my credit card company but unfortunately to much time had passed so I could not put in a claim. They did however look at all my purchase history and found that they still owed me money. So if CCG ever reads this here's a big double middle finger salute . I hope your business gets shut down."

"Ordered item on a wednesday with 2nd day air UPS. Did not hear anything all weekend and sent them an email on Monday. Was told there was a problem with their order update software and the item had shift. Discovered they shipped it USPS instead of UPS 2nd day air. Demanded a refund on shipping and did receive it. Package arrived a week later and was in an envelope so old it scattered paper fragment all over my living room and through the book when I opened it!"

"I have found CCG Armory to be somewhat dishonest and unprofessional in their shipment of orders. They tell you your item has shipped almost immediately after you place your order, thus preventing you from cancelling. The truth is, however, your item still won't ship for at least another week, and you won't even get it until a week after that. If they were just honest and said shipping takes two weeks, I wouldn't mind, but they tell you your order has shipped a week before they send it. I will not be buying from them again. "

"I should have listened to the negative reviews!

I tried to buy an in stock Hot Toys Captain America last night and the transaction went through fine.

This morning they emailed me to tell me it was out of stock and asked if I wanted a different item. Immediately I responded saying no, cancel the order and refund.

Hours passed and I heard nothing, so I email again and say send me confirmation and tell me you are canceling. Still nothing.

I give them until 8 p.m. and then finally put in a paypal dispute. Less than an hour later I get an email saying:

"We attempted to refund your order, but a paypal dispute has been filed. Therefore we will not be able to take any action until paypal completes their investigation process, which can take several weeks. In the meantime, your order is cancelled."

Convenient timing that only then did they attempt the refund...Saturday at 9 p.m. after getting notice of the dispute.

Furthermore, that's complete b.s. in my opinion about the refund because its listed as a dispute, not an escalated claim where paypal actually gets involved, so I think they are just trying to hold my money for the time being.

I wish I had listened to the reviews, but I thought I was just hearing the most negative horror stories, not that this was their actual method of operation, but apparently they list items that are out of stock as in stock all the time and then hold people's money!

"I purchased the AD&D special edition reprints from CCG Armory and received them poorly packaged and all with damage to the items. The damage was not horrible, the books were still usable but not what I wanted with a collector's edition set of books. I emailed their help address and they responded saying the items were shipped from Amazon fulfillment and for me to send pics of the damage. I did and I did not hear back from them after that. I waited a week later and emailed again, no response at this point a week after that. I've returned things to Amazon in the past and I know they make it very easy, so in my opinion, this is pure laziness on the part of the company. I'm going to go with two stars on this purchase over one because I did have one decent transaction from the seller before and I never posted a positive. Please ignore any follow up messages from the company saying they attempted to contact the buyer multiple times. I'll update this review if I ever hear back from the company again."

"CCG ARMORY Is simply awful, I ordered a item on May 31 and because I sent the wrong # of my address, they said that the UPS tried to deliver but could not. ok then, but after I talked to them and sent the right #/address, they said I was suppose to receive my item pretty soon, ( 2 weeks ).
It never came, it's impossible to get ahold of them by phone or on line. that damn on line support is always off line, what's the point to have it then.
I sent them several messages but never got a response.
I needed to go through my pay pal account to settle the situation because I could lose my money. It took two months the whole thing, I did not received my item but I won the cause, so I got my money back.
They never told me nothing about the process or apologize for theirs mistake, at least that was what they should do.
Particularly in my opinion I give them five negative stars.

"I combed the internet looking for someone online that had Game Science Dice in the color I wanted and CCG Armory was one of the few shops that did. Their price was also strangely "half" of what everyone else was asking. This was my first red flag. I had taken time to call my local game stores to see if they were capable of ordering the dice I wanted and 5 of the shops told me that the distributor was sold out of what I was looking for.

After placing my order it took four days for the package to ship. I wrote emails and called more then 14 times trying to check to see if my order had been received, after all something could have happened digitally… I received NO responses. Their phone line is a dummy line that always leaves you with a friendly prompt saying someone will call you back in 24 hours. This is not true considering 18 days have passed…

Not once did the seller respond to a SINGLE email. They only received after I notified Paypal after 10 days. Once I escalated the seller mysteriously showed up to say that they could no longer communicate with me through email due to Paypal's communication logs.

THE SELLER NEVER EVEN RESPONDED TO PAYPAL'S MESSAGES!!! Luckily Paypal refunded my money after I waited 18 business days for a first class mailed envelope which is only supposed to take 3-5 business days.

AVOID CCGARMORY LIKE THE PLAUGEEEE!!!!!
