"I was looking to upgrade our 9 year old LaView camera system. After a lot of searching and reading reviews, I decided on the 8 camera 4K IP system from CCTV Camera Pros. Having worked in IT for 40+ years, I was also thinking of finagling together a Blue Iris system, but decided on the low maintenance plug and play route instead. Install was easy since I reused the Cat5e cables and didn't have to crawl in the attic to run cable, which I'm too old for that now anyway. Configured my Asus router for the port forwarding and tried using the Asus built-in DDNS feature, which didn't work reliably. So, just using the ViewTron code scan option for our devices. Everything is working great!"

"My outdoor camera lasted 8 years. The wiring and connections underground from house to the gate are RCA. Camera replacement was easy with the customer service because I spoke to a human, sent pictures via email (I’m not tech savvy) and ordered the camera fitting my existing connection.
Finding a monitor (that malfunctiond also) with RCA video port was a challenge until the excellent solution was to use HDMI converter .
