However, as I explained in email, your router is already using port 80 for remote management so you can not use that port for your camera also. This is a rare scenario that we run into from time to time. I apologize that it is not realistic for us to document how to fix exceptions like this for every router type on the market. In these cases, CCTV Camera Pros support can log in to your network remotely, as myself or one of the other techs will be doing on Thursday, to give you a hand with setup. "I bought from CCTV Camera Pros after reading all the preceding reviews. (And being convinced all the reviews weren't written by one person, given that it's one 5-Star review after another!) After dealing with CCTV, I see why the reviews are 5-Star. Equipment was shipped the day it was ordered, and arrived just as ordered. Troubleshooting service is outstanding. I had to call a couple of times while hanging cameras and hooking up gear. Setting up remote viewing hookup turned into a week-long hassle, with one unexpected problem after another. In total, I spent about two hours on the phone with my DSL provider and about six more hours with CCTV teks, James and Chris in particular. They were endlessly patient in working through what turned out to be a long series of roadblocks, until the hookup finally worked. I'm fairly computer savvy but never could have navigated through this situation without help. It's really nice to phone for help and have the call answered with little wait time, plus speak to somebody who's not half way around the world, reading from a script, and otherwise knows little about how to fix the problem. I am sorry that you are having trouble. Please be advised that there is a DC power input for charging as well as the DC power output for the camera on the MON-LCD25P test monitor that you purchased. The DC out is a smaller plug and is commonly mistaken for the charger input. Please verify that you are using the correct terminal for charging. If you verify that the you are using the correct one and the charger is definitely too big, we will get a replacement out to you on Monday and we apologize for any inconvenience.

"I purchased a bunch of equipment for a residential video surveillance system from CCTV Camera Pros & was very satisfied with the process. Prior to purchasing the equipment, I called them on several occasions due to questions that I had regarding their products. They were always very cordial & helpful. One of their customer service people even provided me assistance when I informed him that I had questions about compatibility between their products & a brand of camera that they did not sell. He took the time to look up the specs from that camera & addressed all of my concerns. Since I am from Hawaii, I think the only negative aspect of the purchase of these products from CCTV Camera Pros is that the shipping to Hawaii is not free & their shipping rates were very high. I ended up having them ship the order to the West Coast for free, then made other more reasonable shipping arrangements from there to Hawaii. "
