"I was looking for a school that provides a safe and nurturing environment for my daughter and after touring a few different schools. I thank God that I came across the Children’s Courtyard because I was looking for a school that had flexible hours that would work well with my schedule. The location is convient and not far from home. I love the fact that I can watch her on live video to check on her and see how she is doing, this gives me a big relief. The teachers know the students by name and that shows their care for the children. Additionally, the activities provided at the school is a big plus which helps in learning about new skills and she seems to be enjoying her school and is learning new words. I can't wait to see how much more my daughter progresses moving forward. So far it has been a great experience."
"Amazing! Recommended by a co-worker, loved the atmosphere during the tour, curriculum is great, family activities, engaging, loving, and fun! I can’t say enough good things about this team"
"Teachers are great. Clean environment. Welcoming, nurturing and my son is learning so much. He now enjoys circle time and joining in group activities."
"Excellent experience so far. Would appreciate more communication about the recent change in leadership of the school and staffing changes."
"The infant room had to shut down due to staffing. We are happy to be back now but my only feedback for this school is that courtyard management would increase teacher wages to retain quality teachers. To increase budget so that every room can have 2 full-time teachers because 1 is not enough & you can’t expect 1 person to handle 7 toddlers or 2-year-olds all day by themselves, they will never stay long-term. Pay teachers more & invest in their work environment. The teachers at this school are amazing, they just need more support. Gabrielle is doing a phenomenal job. I have talked to teachers that have left. Some feedback I heard was that it they felt like they were on an island by themselves because of staffing issues. The classrooms that thrive have 2 teachers. & this should be the case no matter the wa state ratio requirements."
"From the director to the teachers the people here love being here. My child calls it her “fun school” and in the mornings tells me “hurry up! We need to go to school!”. I cannot thank this staff enough for loving my child and making me comfortable."
"We could not think of anyone better than Mrs. Matty Ryder to oversee our child's growth and education. She has always shown genuine care, love, respect, and interest in my child's education and growth since we began taking our children under her care over 6 years ago. We would have driven anywhere to place our child in daycare as long as Matty was the director of the school. We could not be happier. Our child immediately adapted to the wonder staff - not only Matty, but Amy, Genesis, and most importantly - Ms. Nicole (the entire staff is amazing). Nicole is an amazing professional, teacher, educator, and human being, and it's no surprise that she shares the same level of care for the children as Matty."
"This school has been great. My kids are very happy. The facilities are nice and all recently redone (aside from the playground which I think they are planning to update). The teachers are very patient and caring. They communicate well. I get lots of updates in the app. My kids are both learning a lot. The teachers all seem to get along well. Ms Amy (the assistant director) is always fun and positive. Ms Matty (the director) has many years of experience which shows. She cares about each and every kid and listens to the parents."
