"Your number one asset at the school is your teachers! I can’t tell you how much we have come to love and depend on the teachers at the Children’s Courtyard! They care and love our children allowing us peace of mind while we have to be away! They look at our children as individuals and know that no two are the same! I am always so disappointed when I hear that a teacher is leaving. Turnover has been higher since the daycare was sold to The Children’s Courtyard from the Ruckus House. I just hope you realize the importance of a good staff and value your teachers! They are more than a headcount! They make a difference in the lives of our children each and every day! The teachers have been the only reason we haven’t pursued other daycares! It’s not the curriculum or facility. It’s your teachers. The ones who have been there for years. The ones you have hired and are so good with children. The teachers matter most. I hope you value them like we do!"

"up until the last two months we've loved this school and would not have thought about leaving. we've had a bad experience with certain teachers and in talking with other parents know we are not alone in this thought. however, the director has been great and my child is now doing well with current teacher. if the current director wasn't there and didn't' treat my child so well (as well as having excellent past teachers) we would not have considered leaving"

"My overall experience with this school has been good. My kids have been going here since they were infants and before new ownership. I have always had good communication/relationships with all of my kids teachers while they have attended this school. My kids have thrived since day one of attending and they look forward to going to school and seeing their friends and hugging the staff as they see them throughout the day! I do not like the financial part that I've experienced since new ownership with my kids going to this school. I feel the financial part of this school is not being handled the best way it could be. I have had many issues with my amount I pay for, for my kids every week over the past year and it doesn't make sense to me and upsets me how long the issue kept going on for. When the school is going to encounter any changes to is whether it be tuition changes, teachers leaving, other events happening, us the parents don't know about it ahead of times so we can prepare if necessary. I do not like how little the staff/teachers at this school get paid. I would like to know where my money I pay weekly goes and who gets it because I know the teachers aren't getting it and that's not right in my opinion. I need to know that while my kids are in the hands of others that they are being paid fairly for the care they are giving my kids till I am able to take them home. I would like to be educated more on how daycares run financially and where the money goes. I can't believe that teachers suffer so badly in the childcare/education industry due to getting paid poorly."

"The overall/day to day interactions have been great, however the transition to Toddlers could have been better outlined. When asking the Toddler staff what needed to be done differently we were only told to bring a crib sheet & blanket. Changes for a more structured schedule were not mentioned and instead found out piecemeal through out the transition week (ex. no bottles, or room refrigerator for bottles while we move to sippy cups; specific meal times vs. individual schedules; single nap time vs. at will; outside play in morning requiring SPF before drop off, new medication forms for diaper cream & SPF needed). While our child didn't notice, and the staff answered all questions easily along the way it made the first few mornings feel unprepared. A transition sheet with changes would have told us what we needed to be prepared for."

"This is a great school, great staff and clean and safe area. My kids like going to school and that is very important to me. I just wish they could keep the teachers longer, the turnover rate is high. We are always seeing new teachers and saying bye to the ones we love. But thankfully, my two kids are in very stable classes, so we've decided to stay. The people that are there and working currently are amazing. I hope they stay because we love them!"
