"My experience has diminished greatly since enrolling a fewkmths ago. My child used to have the same teacher and be in the same class at least 4 times a week, 5 being ideal. The last month or so, the classroom they get dropped off in changes, almost daily, who watches them changes almost daily. Updates via the Sproutabout app has tanked. We used to get several pictures a day of their activities and lately it's just diaper changes, meals, naps and room changes. My child is suffering from pretty bad diaper rash constantly because after 3pm they get juggled between classrooms and staff and nobody bothers to track diaper changes anymore. On a few occasions, my childs diaper was so full when I arrived, their diaper was LEAKING through their pants. My child has begun demonstrating some concerning behavior that we need to meet with the director about. We're not sure if it's other children or something far more concerning that's responsible.Heard an employee yelling at a child on New Year's Eve."
"Overall staff has been great and the short staffing has been very unfortunate. I’m sure when they are able to staff appropriately there will be no concerns."
"Really loved the consistent teachers. Ever since the high turnover it has made me wonder if my children’s care is impacted. Daycare teachers purchase out of pocket items for their classrooms. Give the teachers better pay and more ownership of the classrooms and supplies for themselves and kids."
"Recent loss of staff due to inappropriate staff behavior is very concerning, along with the director being removed. Also loss of staff is creating issues with availability of care, which is very frustrating"
"Jess Tejada is a great teacher and is the main reason for staying due to her constant communication, professionalism, and dedication to her students."
"Love the school, location and many of the long term teachers that really care. They are invested and care. They are always in a good mood. It's not easy to take care of others peoples kids but is an important part of my kids lives and for what we pay the teachers should be compensated for the important job that they do."
"We have had a great experience with Courtyard. The teachers and all the staff are very friendly and genuinely care for my children’s well being"
"The staff has always been amazing and accommodating to my daughters needs."
"The schools is good generally speaking. Our child was monolingual Spanish speaking when she started and has picked up English very quickly, we appreciate that. Understandably, with a room full of toddlers it feels like complete chaos at pick up. We aren’t super impressed with the meals provided, primarily at breakfast, although we understand they are designed to be all encompassing for the all kids, cultures, dietary restrictions and preferences. The school is good overall."
"Before the pandemic, it was a great daycare, very warm and welcoming and I felt like my child was well cared for and looked after. I still very much believe that of the teachers. Sadly, it is clear that staffing is short and overall quality just is not there anymore. I keep hoping with the pandemic being more or less over, that things will improve back to how it was."
"Overall a great school but WAY too expensive"
"Her teaches are amazing, the Director and her assistant are not super friendly and come off as judgmental. ."
"Love the location and staff are amazing."
"Positive for the most part"
"Samantha at the Lacey South Location made me feel very comfortable when we were unexpectedly moved from the DuPont location the week before my 3 month old's first day. His teachers update the app throughout the day and answer all of the questions promptly though the app message system. I feel very comfortable with my child at this daycare."
