"Second time I order from them with the same problem. Seller refuses to issue refund a few days after purchase for a defective item. Currently it has been almost a month. They are refusing to refund because the box has been opened. Of course to find that the item is defective one needs to open the box. Will have to contest the charges with the credit card. Customer support takes a very long time to reply and to ship."
"Placed an order online but noticed an error in the email address. Tried phoning CDW.ca to correct and can never reach a support person. Always voicemail, and no one returns phone calls; and no one retruns emails!!!
After calling the USA divsion and the support person called and put me in touch with a support person in Canad, they stated they would address the issue... Suffice it to say, 7 days later, no change and no order was delivered... so 4 more phone call attempts and 2 more emails, with no response. Finally called customer relations department and FINALLY talked to a human! Explained the issue and was promised a call back from sales department within 3 hours... Of course, no call the rest of that day... finally called back to customer relations and got different person, and they tried the sales department and no one would answer her call! So I asked for a manager... and surpise, I got voice mail again... No return call...
I finally decided to cancel the order and buy elsewhere... Don't waste your time with this company!!!"

"Put an order in for a web cam (Logitech Brio 4k). A couple of our other employees did the same. We received order confirmations and an estimate of 5 days to receive. 7 days later we all login to our accounts and there are no records of the purchases. Spent 55 minutes on hold with the sales line and then they drop the call because they closed at 7pm EST. Got ahold of them the next day and they say that the product is not in stock (although the website showed 169 available in the Vancouver warehouse) and they dont know why it was cancelled. All orders cancelled without notification.
This is a terrible way to do business. Tried to work with a Canadian company, but this one isn't worth another try; go elsewhere."
"I was told the product I ordered would be received within 3 - 6 business days, it is over two weeks and I still have not received the product.
I tried calling twice, both times I was on the phone for 15 minutes only to be disconnected. I sent two emails and only received an auto reply stating no info regarding my order.
Finally I reached customer service only to be told the product is in short supply, they should have stated this on their web site like all other computer stores did!!!!! Rather than make me wait two weeks for NOTHING.
This is my first experience with CDW and I will never use them again."

The customer service got in touch with me in a matter of minutes. Remember this!
She stated problems with my shipping AND billing address. It turns out they only ship to commercial addresses, where I got lucky, I could provide them with one.
Then, the issue was supposed to be my billing address, even though I make hundreds to thousands of orders online every year without never a hint of a problem. We exchanged a few emails promptly responded and we spoke on the phone. Over the weekend, I eventually saw the authorization on my credit card statement dating to friday, but I never got a confirmation email or anything.
During the following week, I checked the order status - nothing. I emailed the customer service (that was so fast to respond when problem arose before) - no response. Waited a few days, emailed again - no response.
I decided to cancel the order - I got a response within minutes! Cancellation acknowledged and confirmed.
So in a nutshell, they seem to be looking for ways to cancel the orders! When they run out of options to cancel the order, they stop responding. But they respond within minutes when problems arise or cancellation is made.
I've never seen anything like this.
Stay away! It's better to be empty handed than to deal with these people. Banned for life."
"I would not recommend this business for purchasing a computer. I found the sales help ok, but the follow up was poor to say the least.
I purchased over 2,000.00 of computer equipment at one time on the phone.
I did receive about 7 different tracking numbers with no estimated shipping time whatsoever. I had to flag down the sales person for any additional info, and his response was scant. I literally had no idea of when the equipment would arrive until 12-24 hours before delivery.
When I came home to find the computer delivered and left outside my door without a signature and appalled by the lack of follow up I simply didn't want to take the risk to wait for the other orders to arrive. I immediately cancelled the rest of the deliveries requesting return to sender. It took hours to cancel the other 6 tracking numbers and track down the two shipping companies. I did request a refund. It took 3 weeks to process.
When I wrote the customer service about the experience, they never responded.
The only response I received was a negative email from the original salesperson who originally took the order.
After getting the refund, I reordered everything from the Apple.ca canadian website.
Unlike CDW, the whole process was seamless and made me realize how inefficient the previous CDW experience had been, for something that would be a basic standard service for most computer companies. The initial sales help was fine, but, clearly this company needs to review their shipping protocol and follow up-a true disaster. I have no connections to this company nor am I asking the merchant to get back-they were already given the opportunity for customer service feedback. I just want to make sure I can prevent the same thing from happening to others."
