"My 1st experience with CDWow:
I Pre-ordered Starcraft 2 PC game on 5/21/10, great price. Credit card charged right away. Release Date 7/27/10. This was a gift for my nephew.
Game put on backorder, delay in receiving product from suppliers. Customer service responded to my emails promptly, apologizing each time for the delay & tried to keep me updated with the progress, but still product was delayed even longer.
Did not receive game until 10/5/10, over 2 months after release date. They said this was a rare occurrence. My nephew was so bummed it took so long to receive his gift, a game he was so excited about getting, I felt so bad for disappointing him.
I have 2 other pre-orders with CDWow pending. I just recently cancelled one of them, Call of Duty: Black Ops, I ended up pre-ordering elsewhere, lower price, guaranteed ship date.
CDWow promptly refunded my payment for the cancelled Call of Duty game, back to my Paypal account. They again sincerely apologized for the inconvenience & disappointment I experienced with the Starcraft 2 pre-order.
The other game, Diablo 3 PC, release date keeps getting extended. I pre-ordered & paid for on 3/15/10, release date not until 2011?
I would like to give CDWow the benefit & give them another chance. Maybe this was a rare occurrence, the delay with getting the pre-ordered Starcraft 2 PC game?
Overall, CDWow has great prices, awesome discounts/vouchers & customer service representatives have been very efficient at responding to emails & questions. But, there is no guarantee they will have your pre-order item in stock & there possibly could be a long delay in receiving your product.

"I ordered a dvd from them on december 13th of 2005, and got an email saying my order was despatched on the 16th and will be here in 5-7 days. I waited until it was the 27th and since it was over the estimated 7 days i emailed them to ask for a status update. They responded to my email in less than 5 min asking to confirm my shipping address, which i promptly replied, and yet again in less than 5 min I got a response from them saying that it is most likely the package was lost and they will send a replacement right away. Checking online for the order status shows indeed he has added a new order (the replacement) to my account. I recieved the package the day after i sent the email, and quickly notified them to stop them from sending me the replacement. I was very impressed at the speed of their response and the actions took to correct the "mistake" that wasn't really their fault in the first place. I would not hasitate to import dvds using them again. Not to mention their price is quite good!"
"CD Wow! was a pleasure to do business with, and I look to ordering from them again in the future for any of my import music and DVD needs. I ordered a DVD from them that had been selling for upwards of $25 elsewhere, but CD Wow! had it for $15.95 shipped free to the United States from Asia. The only small quibble is that the DVD info page listed the DVD has full screen and not the widescreen version that was sent to me. This is fine, and I figured it was widescreen anyway because no full-screen version exists."
