For some reason my laptop rejected the code, after one email asking for help to my surprise I got an apology and a link to get a new licence key.

"Win 10 retail is +/- a bit, around $120. I just built my new desktop. Did a Win Restore onto a USB and used that top install Win 10. Then upgraded to Win 11. (Home Edition in my case). $12.20 after currency conversion, and I had within minutes, a Key for Win 11 Home. Clicked SYSTEM-->ACTIVATE, copy/pasted the supplied Key and VIOLA!
