"I placed an order for parts from the company website online, they charged full amount of $ 1198.93. including shipping charges. after which, they emailed me saying some parts are on backorder and i requested to cancel these parts. i emailed them to refund the remaining money of $233 for the canceled items but no one is responding, tried calling no one take the phone. i left my phone number but no one called back, tried to chat but the agent is not responding!! still waiting but seems money will never be refunded as this company have no business ethics."
"Ordered a door lock mechanism for the right side, also stated on the invoice. Well of course they sent me the one for the left side. To make a long story short I had to call three times in order to get my refund and it was $11 short of what I paid!

"During a two year complete restoration of my 1973 Bronco, I ordered multiple times from CJ Pony Parts to include a new steel hood. When the shop was finally ready to replace the hood and put the truck into the spray booth, the shop opened the box to find a Mustang Floor Panel not a Bronco Hood for the 66-74 model. When I called to get the situation fixed - I waited 1:20 on hold waiting to speak to a sales rep who informed me that they were not responsible for replacing the hood as it was past their warranty window. I spoke with a supervisor the next day and was given the same BS excuses of CJ Pony not responsible for shipping the wrong part in the first place. I'm out another $500 on a new hood and will have another month waiting to get this project finished. I've had the Bronco since 1993 when I was just starting my military career that only ended in 2020. I learned in my 30+ years in the service, you are a man of your word or you are nothing. CJ Pony Parts scammed me out of $2500, I placed an order for one car hood they billed me for two, i tried cancel the whole order they said would not as its ben processed. When they shipped it the delivery driver and frieght company refused to deliver my house as was to heavy, i paidd $500 for shipping got scammed i just wanted one hood, they never delivered it to my house left it one block away, it was never to be seen after that, reported it to Cj, they said toi get a refunbd back they need their product back and ship, Wtf 1.) product was no where to be located it was signature verification that was never signed, 2.) how the hek can i ship back two large hoods from canada to united staes that weight 250 pounds, . I called my bank did a reverse charge back told i never got it, cj got mad at me, banned me from there site and cancelled all my oprders which i really needed to finish my car, oh and customer service is rude and parts are always on back order when they say available online which leads me to scam company and agin same parts different website is cheaper go figure."
"Honestly CJ Pony Parts only gets the 1 star because when I placed my initial order it got to me fairly fast. However, we decided not to fix the car that the parts were for. They were still packaged in the box the way we received them. I contacted them online about a return and was sent one email stating how to complete the return process and then another email with a ticket number saying if I had anything to add reply to the email. I replied asking them to grant an extension on their 60 day return policy; I have worked in customer service long enough to know exceptions can always be made. I got no response back to the email.
Yesterday I called them and was on hold for awhile. I requested a call back from them; when I got the callback it was just dead air. Shortly after I got some email saying they were working on my ticket. I called again this afternoon to try and speak with someone. I stayed on hold this time and after several minutes the automated system asked me to rate the representative I spoke with, but I NEVER actually spoke to anyone. So then I called again because the call before hung up after the rating part. FINALLY I get to speak to someone! After I explain I bought the parts for my husband's birthday, they weren't taken out of the box I just would like to have an exception made to return them. She said that I was told no exception could be made and I told her I never even spoke with anyone. She then preceded to tell me I was sent an email informing me they couldn't make an exception. Which, I did get one after I spoke with this representative. I was like so now you guys are just going to leave me sit here with over $500 in parts I have no use for and she told me to sell them online! I asked to speak to a manager and was told they will call me back. So far I haven't received a call back and I'm not holding my breath. I have however received numerous emails stating my problem has been resolved, which it has not! BUYER BEWARE IF YOU PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM CJ PONY PARTS, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE ****!"

"CJ Pony is bad when comes to communicating with their customers one radiator bracket was on back order and the other they never send the tracking number for the part. I tried to get in contact with them about getting a credit and they, “Your request has been updated! “. The part was shipped the 12/3/21 and I got the tracking number on 12/22/21 because I email because I had not gotten a Credit $26.94 a week later my neighbor said the part was delivered to him. So today I ask for a credit and stated “Per our return policy, we can only accept return within 60 days of the date of purchase. Since this was shipped on 12/3, it is no longer eligible for return”. I will never order from CJ Pony bad service for $26.94."
"I ordered a EFI unit advertised on line for a good price and used an active discount code for 10% and purchased it through Paypal as I also have in past. It was accepted and I awaited the delivery. I received a message from Paypal the next day that $163.00 was added to it without a reason and not even a phone call from CJ pony parts to inform me of a problem. I tried two attempts to call to inquire but was on hold due to " a high volume of calls" and couldn't wait due to work. I ended up getting the unit quickly but It was not at a reduced price as advertised. I have ended up paying more than advertised originally with the free postage. I would have done better with other venters on this item. I am mad a Paypal for passing through a purchase on an amount that was not verified/agreed, after an internal change of price by CJ. I was notified after the change and transfer of funds with $163.00 added on to it. I received a conformation of the lower original price without any problems at purchase. I will not use CJ Pony Parts again after 20 years of loyalty!!!! This is a true bait and switch tactic. Same on YOU! You lost a customer over poor communication and changing a price without notice. I am considering getting a call label and returning your unit for a better priced one elsewhere due to your tactics, If I can get through your phone service, " due to high volume calls". "

"Before I purchased it, I read reviews from 2015 complaining the hardware doesn't fit but the leaf springs were good. I contacted them before I purchased it through their chat forum because if you call, your wait time is horrendous. So I chatted with the guy and told him I was interested in buying this leaf spring for the 68 mustang but there were complaints about the hardware. He said the product will work, I asked if he looked at the reviews and he told me that he's never had a complaint about it. I received it and took my old leaf spring on and all the reviews were correct, the front bolt was way too long ( I wanted to send this review through their website but they don't even allow you to posts review), so I ended up using my old one. I tried using their U-Bolt hardware and the hardware where they make the bends are too narrow so when you put it on you have to hammer it on to get it on but because that part is too narrow where the U is located, it now takes the U bolt and makes it too wide to fit on the plate that hold the leaf spring and shock in place. The leaf spring is fine but I had to use all my old hardware except for the Shackle system. I gave it a 3 star because the leaf spring is good and at least the leaf spring shackle kit fit. In addition, the front leaf spring bolt they give you is too long (as other reviewers noted form 2015), there isn't enough threads to tighten that portion down. I'll buy else where the next time because the people who are suppose to help you know nothing about what they are doing. "
"DO NOT ORDER FROM CJ PONY PARTS! Ordered seat covers for my Jeep and they sent me the wrong ones. 3 months later and countless hours on hold and numerous emails, they finally tell me they are only going to partially refund my order. So because they messed up, I’m out $100. The manager said if they corrected it, they would be out $200. Of coarse I got upset and this manager ended the call by saying F**k you! Worst company ever!"
"Do not buy from them. I purchased seatbelts and they were too short. I called to ask for a return label. I called at least half a dozen times and waited at least a collective 4.5 hours on hold. And after all that they said that their product was "not advertised to fit they were advertised to be 116 inches." So they made me pay $60 to return the items. I will not be purchasing from them again. They have the worst customer service I've ever seen."
"CJ's used to be reliable, but communication over the past year has been terrible. Additionally, very disorganized and they claim COVID problems. For some reason they resolved COVID sourcing of materials, but their customer service and communication could not be worse. Seriously delayed my rebuild and cost me a lot of extra money."
