"Wonderful customer service!! I had ordered the wrong connector for my cable, and called them to see if I could return it. They credited my PayPal account, and told me to keep the item because it would cost more than the item to ship it back. I wasn't expecting that. I will definitely order from them in the future!"

Delay on the shippment was not a issue for me...( on this order, just blank dvds )
But they should of returned my Emails, notified me of the delay and given me a time frame..(( Emailed them 6 times ,, no return reply ))

Get to the store for pickup, inform me that I didn't even buy the drive but I could now for non-sale price. Why did they take my credit card online? to make sure I was serious! ridiculous.

"Went to several compUSA stroes in Northern NJ to purchase the HP7660 printer advertised on their e-Flyer. None of the 6 northern NJ stores I visited had the advertised printers in stock. One store calimed to have run out by 10AM and one had a 7660, but not the advertised one. The store manger would not honor the sale and sell that unit for the advertised price.
All sotres offered to sell me a more expensive unit, but none of the stores could help me find a store with inventory on the sale item."
"They sold me a product that had been opened and resealed by them or a previous customer but accused me of opening it. The assistant manager, Brad Frasier, was rude and dishonest and acted like a bum and refused to waive the 15% restocking fee. Why should I have to pay a restocking fee when somebody else opened the product? Prior to this, I hadn't bought anything from CompUSA for several months (a product so bad that I returned it, even though it would have been free after rebate), and because of this experience, I don't think I'll ever buy anything but will try to start a boycott and a class action lawsuit. I hope CompUSA goes out of existence.

"Purchased a PNY GeForce4, Ti4200 video card via CompUSA.com internet site the second day of their recent sale (3/15 thru 3/20). The expected shipping time was "usually 48 hours". On the third business day after placing the order, I phoned customer service to check on the status of this order since the order comformation status email hadn't been updated since the origional order was placed. I was told this item was out of stock and discontinued. I'm disappointed that I didn't receive a early notification email from this company regarding this problem. Because of this delay, I was unable to purchase this same item offered by another retailer (Best Buy) at the same sale price within their sale period. I don't think CompUSA ever had sufficent quanities of this item on stock before promoting this sale and only used it to attract potential customers to their site in hopes of selling them something. Very reluctant to do web business with CompUSA ever again without confirming that the product was definitely on hand and ready to be shipped. I suggest you do the same before placing an order with them. "
