"Where to begin? First, it's my fault for not checking out this fraudulent company from the start on ResellerRatings. I ordered some UV paint and some UV additive for my water-cooling set-up for a total of about $50.00. I received an email from them that they got my order and it said that they were busy during the holidays, and to please be patient. The holiday they were talking about was CHRISTMAS!!!! It was now May 16, 2003!!! I placed this order almost a full 5 months AFTER Christmas. This was my first warning that something was amiss. If they can't even keep an automated email response up-to-date, I figured there was going to be some problems with my order. I immediately called the number listed and to my surprise (NOT!) it was disconnected. I sent them an email in not so friendly terms that I wanted an update on my order or I would put a stop payment on it. I never received an email back so I went to the bank to stop payment. Unfortunately, with a check card you cannot put a stop payment, you can only freeze your account. That was something I wasn't going to do. For 1 week they did not charge my card. Then on the 23rd of May they finally did. Today I called my bank and filed a dispute. I did get my money back from them provisionally. I'm sure that will turn into something more permanent, as CPUFX must prove that they actually sent something to me to get paid themselves. Since they haven't sent anything, THEY LOSE!!! I take great happiness in knowing this company and it's sister company OverclockersHideout.com are not going to get a penny of my money after all. I fond it completely unfathomable that this company is still in business, and even more amazed that the owner isn't rotting in jail somewhere."

"Back in Dec. 2002 when i purchased from them I was looking for a watercooling case that was decently priced but was a performer as well. I stumbled upon cpufx/overclockershideout and got interested in what they were offering. I tried to look around for company info but did not find much, however i did find some reviews of there products on the web and they seemed to be positive. Anyway, I placed an order for an assembled water cooled case with the owner of the company. I neeeded to recieve it asap and he made it happen... however when i got the case, not only was it damaged due to improper packing on there behalf, but it was missing the main power cord for the water pump for water cooling system. Also, according to info given on their site the case was supposed to have 2 floppy drive bays available, however due to the setup of the pump (which was permanently attached to the bays) this was impossible. I was pretty ticked as I was moving at the moment and this was a hassle. The owner decided that he will put the blame of the damage on UPS to get his money back when they pick up the case from me.
At this point I had the choice of just ditching them (cpufx) and getting my refund, or trying it again. I was assured that this time around I would get the case fine with everything in it. So I went for it.
Luckily I did get the case, as well as the power cord adapter, but this time there was a lack of plastic tubing- which i had to go out and find. The owner gave me his word that he will make sure that everything will be shipped correctly, however it seems he did not check on the tubing, or the arctic silver that he was supposed to send. It is evident that the employees are a joke.
Sorry for the long story, just wanted to share my experience. In the end, now, thinking back, aside the troubles the case itself is a pretty good deal for a beginner overclocker. However, I would definately not buy, nor recommend buying from them. If anything, read up on watercooling and setup your own case for less money and better components. Their radiators suck.

"Have not received my order as of today (almost 3 months later). They do not answer or return phone calls or emails. Past orders I've received have been missing items with no explanation or refund offered. They never even bother to include a shipping document or receipt listing items purchased or prices paid. This is without a doubt THE worst on-line computer store on the Internet. Period. BEWARE OF CPUFX.com and OverclockersHideout.com (one and the same company). The WILL rip you off."

The phone number as of June 1st has been cut off at CPUFX. There is now no way except for their email (a joke, they never respond) to get in touch with them.

With their phone # out of service, I can't imagine they are even still in business, although their website is up.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I've been waiting for 2 months for a new pump. Their answering machine has been full for 2 entire months...I can't even leave a message for them. I've sent them over 10 emails...no response. I'm curious to see if this company even exists anymore. I am going to have to buy a pump from another company, even though CPUFX informed me they'd send me a pump to replace the one that broke during install over a month ago, I simply have no faith that they will.

"Worst shopping expierence ever! I ordered a simple fan and UV dye on sunday evening 23rd of february and it's still processing! Seriously there is no other store that takes 5 ****ing days to process an order, and they don't even respond to any e-mails. WTF kind of a company is this!?!??! I strongly advise you stay away from them."

"My first impression of this company is not good at all. I order on the 9th of march and after 2 weeks and no product or a word so I sent them an email. What I got was No reply whatsoever. About 10 days later I finally phone them, they then said that they shipped my items to the wrong address and they resent it and should be at my door in about 4 days. After about a month from the order date I finally recieve the item. To top it all off, the item didn't look exactly like the picture shown on the website.
