I was in position where due to a holiday I didn't realize was coming up, shipping times got delayed and I was leaving the country for a couple of months. I wouldn't have been able to receive the package and add the hard disk to my laptop that I was taking on my trip.

Adam from CPU Medics worked with UPS to get the package delivered a day earlier from the expected time.

My package arrived and I was able to take the hard drive with me.

That folks is great customer service. And to add sugar to dessert, they had the lowest price of anyone on the 1 TB hard drive.

"Outstanding and exceptional customer service. I initially ordered a CPU for an upgrade to an older computer and needed a CPU with a max TDP of 95 Watts. I was able to get in touch with them and correct the order. Afterwards, the incorrect CPU was sent with a higher wattage, but they immediately sent information to send back the CPU and simultaneously shipped the correct one. "Admittedly, with no street address I was a bit leery of doing business with CPU Medics. However, an online search didn't turn up anything too over the top, so I ordered a Hitachi 7200RPM 40GB IDE HDD from them. Good part is that the drive I received was still in OEM packaging and was received 3 days early. Not so good part is that the drive I received was a Hitachi 5400RPM 60GB IDE HDD. I'm giving this one a "thumbs up" for a few reasons: (1) The drive I originally ordered was the server version, and what I got was the laptop version - since it's going in a laptop, it's probably more appropriate than what I ordered; (2) I'm getting a third more storage capacity with a slight loss in I/O throughput; (3)Getting a working IDE drive these days of any kind tends to be somewhat problematic at best. Recommended - and, well done CPU Medics!"
