"Rebecca did a wonderful job giving us a tour. I was very impressed by the extensive security precautions and the technology integrated into the curriculum. I had a chance to meet many of the teachers and they were all inviting and kind. My son said, I don't want to go home when it was time to leave. Thank you for a wonderful tour, Childtime!"
"Overall, we are happy! I could not ask for better teachers. That is what keeps us here!"
"My experience was horrible. My daughter was ignored, left to cry all day with no one trying to comfort her, they let her sleep on the tile floor and just stepped over her, she wasn’t watched close enough to the point she was playing in the garbage can (more than once), and Miss Karen knocked my child over (quite hard, but I know it was on accident) and didn’t even acknowledge she did it, help her up, or make sure she was ok when she started crying hysterically. The infant room with Miss Karen and how she cares for her kids was heartbreaking to say the least. I will say that the toddler room was awesome. The teachers were very caring, engaging and comforting to my child. I wish she had started there from the get-go like I requested. My child’s welfare wouldn’t be a concern there but from everything I saw with Miss Karen I just couldn’t keep my daughter there anymore. It was so upsetting, I just can’t believe the things I saw."
"The director and assistant director really try. They attempt to fix problems. I would say the major concern is the staff. They do not fix concerns, you have to address concerns multiple times. They are not nurturing in the least. It seems to us and multiple other parents, that we have spoken with, this job for most of the workers is just that, a job. Just medial tasks that have to be done and after they are done it is free time for the staff to gossip and talk. My partner and I can not wait until he/she moves into another room, because we are hoping it is just that particular room."
"Was great until the new director took over. High turnover and decreasing interaction."
"Teachers and Ms Laura are amazing. Director has been trying to improve and has gotten better. However no where near where we believe she should be after this long. Follow through is terrible."
"The teachers are nice, but I don’t see us getting the full value for what we pay. I’m paying almost $1,000 a month which is too much to send a 5 year old to school. The center was short staffed for awhile and while I’m spending $1,000 to send my son there, I found him in a room with 3 year olds who I’m sure their parents are paying significantly less. I fail to understand why the tuition has been steadily increasing as my son gets older. I understand paying a preimum when sending an infant there because of the amount of care involved, but a 5 year old is much more independent and the tuition should be considerably less…in my opinion. Again, the staff is nice and they take care of my son. I would have pulled him out, but to avoid putting stress on him I just decided to bite the bullet and pay money."
"We love Childtime Chesterfield! We transferred our son from a Tutor Time due to location after we moved. The only single complaint we have is the cost because 3 days/week at Tutor Time was significantly less than 3 days/week at Childtime. That being said, we are very happy with the care our son receives. We feel so lucky that his teachers care about him and nurture him as much as they do! He loves to talk about his teachers, friends and all the fun stuff they do during their day and that makes us so happy! Thanks to all the staff for everything they do to provide such a great and safe environment for the kids!"
"I would have done anything for this school until the new director took over. Since then I have lost all faith in the school and the parent company."
"School has been ok. Definitely liked previous director more than new one. She seemed to care more about kids."
"Love the teachers and staff that has been there for over a year. New teachers are fillers in our eyes and director is very disappointing. Walked in one day and the way she was talking to another staff member made me so disappointed we started looking at other schools. I have wanted to call and report but after talking to other family's who have done that it seems no real action would be taken. The staff is struggling and communication lacks and we as parents can see that. Our older child seems to have more of an advancement in development then our younger but since the teacher who thought that class had left I can't say we are surprised. Again LOVE the teachers and Laura but has much concerns for Tamara and the new hires."
"Overall, our experience with the teachers has been excellent. They are a dedicated group who truly care about the kids this supervise. They alone make this facility a great place to bring your child to learn."
"Its ok. The problem is the cost. Its ran too much like a business and not enough like a school"
"We appreciate all of the teachers and all that they do. They go above and beyond our expectations and make the entire experience worth it."
"This Childtime location is amazing and the teachers are very qualified. I will recommend this school over and over. This school as put my children so far above other children in knowledge, general life skills, and social interaction."
"I am outraged how the staff is treated here and parents are not going to take it much longer. Do something!"
