"I think that the staff cares and they want to put their best foot forward. The problem is that they must accept new students year round. When the ratios are off balance, they start moving kids around. This needs to stop. It’s okay to say no because the classroom is full. I fully expected my child to be in the same room with the same teachers for the duration of a school year. Like my husband and I were in pre K but that hasn’t been the case."

"Our daughters first classroom had good teachers, and we felt our daughter was safe. But we are blown away since she joined Aurelia’s (aka Mindy’s) classroom. She cares for the kids as if they were her own children, and my wife and I have really gotten so much more comfortable since the change."

"We loved this school when we first toured and enrolled our child. Over time, we have lost trust and confidence in the school for many reasons. Shortly after making a great connection with our child’s lead teacher, she left the school. We never connected well with any other teachers. A month after that, a series of biting incidents occurred without transparent explanations of what was going on. We eventually heard a rumor that CPS got involved because a staff member was neglecting to supervise the children appropriately. Suddenly the school started closing at 5PM every day for 2 weeks because of “staffing issues”. It was very disappointing (and concerning) to not have proper clarity and honesty about what was happening. The icing on the cake for us was when ChildTime lifted the mask mandate at their centers. That decision was not evidence-based since most of the children are not eligible for the vaccine yet. It led to a covid outbreak, which caused some classrooms to close and left families scrambling."
