"Teachers are, generally, wonderful, loving, and nurturing. Outgoing director was dishonest in communicating with parents (i.e., it quickly became apparent that nothing she said could be believed). Also, child transitions from one room to the next are very poorly planned and poorly communicated."
"Last year the pre-K was a mess. Very good teachers and assistant teachers. But lots of teacher turnover."
"Extremely satisfied and happy about the way school staffs treat my kid. He is showing lots of improvement after going to Child Time in terms of listening, speaking and learning abilities."
"I absolutely love Childtime! Curriculum is on point. Interaction with my son has been so motherly with all the staff. Only daycare I trust!"
"poor experience. teachers and director are lethargic and lack care."
"Childtime has been wonderful for my son. The teachers are incredibly loving and interactive and I have been very happy with the care my son receives there."
"We absolutely loved the school when we first enrolled but since that director left things have slowly declined. However, the teachers there are fabulous. Very caring, friendly and attentive."
"Love this school! They Greet my son & I with love! My son is comfortable & learns something new everyday."
"Generally we are pleased with Childtime. If there were an area for improvement it would consistency with communications. Sometimes there are updates weekly, and then nothing for a several weeks, and sometimes the menu for the week comes out in advance, but other times it comes late or not at all."
"We came to Childtime in 2011 with our older daughter and had a great experience. The school has become a little less social among parents since then, and our interaction with the director has not been as frequent. Also, the grounds on the front exterior of the school have not been very inviting with poorly maintained landscaping and a garbage dumpster featured prominently in parking lot."
"Teachers are wonderful! Transitioning of children needs to be improved."
"Teachers are warm and responsive to me and my children. However, I do feel that this decreases with age (in that as my children go into older rooms and the student:teacher ratio increases, it seems that the teachers have less time to dote on my children). This change with age is to be expected, but at the same time I still want my older child to feel special at school every day. The parking lot is too dark in the winter (especially last winter- for a period the parking lot light was broken and I felt unsafe when there weren't other parents/staff around). I LOVE that the staff provides me with a booklet of photos and artwork at parent-teacher meetings. I like the new precious status app. The vast majority of teachers I've interacted with are great, but I'd like to specifically praise the following teachers at Quince Orchard: Ms. Amy (baby room), Ms. Melenie, Ms. Judy Ma, Ms. Nighat, Ms. Laura (older 2 yr old room). My children adore these teachers."
"We would like to know more about eating, sleeping and behavior habits in notes. Personalize notes more and make sure to tell parents when students spend time in other classrooms."
"My children have been attending the Childtime in Gaithersburg since they were 10 weeks old. We've been enrolled as a family since 2012. I can't speak highly enough of the staff at the school- they are warm, nurturing, attentive to my childrens needs and provide a safe environment for my children to learn. I love the curriculum at Childtime. With the ever changing standards for school readiness, it's comforting to know that my children are engaged in programs designed to meet their developmental needs while providing a solid academic foundation. I am amazed at how much they learn each day at Childtime. My children LOVE going to school, the amazing teachers and directors. Thank you!"
