"Overall the school seems great. I do think the communication, particularly via email, is a significant weakness. Prior to enrolling, the school was very poor at responding via email - I had to call to get a response. I wondered if this was just for prospective parents but it seems to have carried over to families as well. If I send an email to the directors, I now expect a delayed response or no response at all. Generally, my communications are not urgent or critical in nature but it’s unacceptable to wait over a week and send multiple emails and still not receive an answer. If there’s a better way to communicate, they should also be advising that as well. Typically my email questions to the directors are not classroom/teacher related either. Please develop a better email response strategy. I have heard other families comment about the same issue."
"I've had my children enrolled since my first daughter was born and have been attending since 2018. The atmosphere, the changing of classes, the teachers, the warmth of everyone has made me as a worrying mom feel very safe and at ease and confident in everyone at Kinderworks. Since the change to ChildTime, the level, caliber and overall vibe from some of the newly hired staff leaves little to be desired. There are a handful of teachers left from the Kinderworks days and I urge you to do whatever is necessary to keep them on. The school director, Caitlin is our heart and soul of the school and has been trying her best to keep the same values and quality to what most of us have been accustomed to. I wish every single teacher that gets hired has the same credentials of being certified by the board of education. I want these teachers recognized for being some of the most amazing group of teachers I've met:Caitlin Krug, Renae McClelland, Becca Carnes, Makenna Glessner, Becky Schmidt, Doni Cosgrove, Angie Miller"
"We have had such a wonderful experience with childtime. Our son started at almost 4 months old. All the teachers are wonderful. They really care about the kids. Our son is learning so much while at childtime it is more than just daycare. It’s like a second family to us."
"The teachers are sweet but the appearance of the school has gone down hill the last year."
"Going down hill. Need to hire stronger teachers."
"So far the teachers have shown so much care and love for our little one. It’s so important to feel confident when you drop your baby off and I always feel so good about leaving my child. My child loves school and that’s because of the teachers and their engagement."
"We absolutely love childtime of limerick. All three of our children have been through the school and we would recommend this center to anyone! I only have good things to say about childtime."
"It's wonderful and checks off all the boxes"
"With changes in the economy and labor market, we understand the challenges over the past few years. One recommendation would be to base school closures due to weather on what the school district is doing. When the district is open, but childtime isn’t, it’s a bad look"
"This school has been nothing but amazing! I’ve had a child there since 2010 and my youngest is now in kindergarten there. All of my three children have graduated from school with strong academic skills, social skills and empathy. Some of the teachers have been there since we started in 2010 and that says a lot about the positive work culture and job satisfaction which clearly benefits the students. This school feels like an extension of our family for our children. Thank you for 14 wonderful years of embracing us as parents, loving our children and giving them the best start possible for their development."
"Better moral. Keep good teachers"
"School should offer in person open house and in person conferences. There is a general disconnect and communication is not consistent or strong. The teacher turnover is concerning. There is an unwillingness to listen to parents in a friendly open fashion and allow for suggestions rather than getting defensive. Director is not friendly when staff comes in and you need to make the first outreach to say hello."
"When it was kinderworks, I loved it. Now that it's changed owners, the entire feel of the school is different and not in a great way. Few of the teachers from kinderworks are still there and I am beyond elated by that. The new teachers, not so much."
"My three children have all been students at Kinderworks and I have been more than happy with the quality of teachers and education provided to them. However, since the company has changed to Childtime, it is noted the quality of teachers has declined, no longer requiring a degree to work at Childtime. The main reason this concerns me and brings the overall score down for Childtime is that we expect for individuals that are directly working with our children to have this be their career. To have the required educational background to know exactly how to handle children in a psychological/emotional/intellectual way. I fear that individuals with a simple certification or have nothing would not take their job seriously enough for the better of our children. There is a difference between someone having a job, and someone having a career. With the few original teachers left from Kinderworks, I am extremely happy with their input and quality of teaching provided. Those few teachers are the only reason we have stayed"
"We LOVE the teachers! They are so kind and caring."
