"If some of the answers to these questions seem harshly critical, it is because these are our children. I would not expect anyone to love any children at Childtime like their parents. However, I want staff to be the experts on child development. I want staff to be better. What continuing education benefits are provided by Childtime? What mentorships are there for young staffers? I place the role of professional development on the organization and to hire those individuals with compassion, empathy and a desire for growth/self-improvement. Alternatively, less driven staff or those with a different set of skills should be evaluated for positions where they can excel."

"The staff cares, the facility is old and not well maintained (basics like vacuuming the carpet and sweeping the floor daily), the new Director is trying to right this ship and doing a good job. The old Director had lost interest. One teacher falls asleep during the day while watching the kids. The District Manager is non-existent, unresponsive and thus ineffective."

"Great school overall. Initially as a parent I didn’t feel the connection with the teachers/staff. Over time they began to speak and became more friendly. The major reason for being involved with this school is the importance of the child’s education and safety which is what mattered most."

"Parking lot situation needs to be addressed. Parents park cars along and over the sidewalk to directly near entrance door of school, not in parking spots making entering and exiting difficult. I believe this is a safety hazard."

"We loved how the first 6 months went and were very impressed. The last few months have been challenging because my child has stopped eating and has started to become scared to go. He describes his concern as having to do with the class-size and certain friends hurting him. We have addressed the concerns and the only feedback we got was that we could make his lunch and bring it. I would love if there was a way that they could work on having him eat instead of us just packing a different meal. If I was there I would work on understanding why he wouldn't eat it and trying to get him to at least try the food. I don't know if other students are actually hurting him, he is three years old and sometimes has a colorful imagination. I do know that he is very uncomfortable with all large class size ."

"This was by far the best place we looked at, we felt warm and welcome and my daughter was happy and engaged instead of scared. It was really comforting knowing I can leave her somewhere she'll be loved and paid attention to"

"I would like if the lines in the parking lot were painted more clearly and people were encouraged to park normally. I would also prefer that buses didnt idle where the exhaust pipe is pointed directly to the door to the building. The main area is extremely cluttered and crowded. Otherwise I love this place. Veronica and Jill are both amazing caregivers and I'm so glad when they are the ones there when I drop off my baby. They make me feel confident that she will be okay."

"I love the teachers at childtime. They are devoted to my child's individual needs, and they make me feel like part of a team in my child's development. The daycare is my daughter's home away from home and I love that she loves to be there. Always happy at pick up and she feels so comfortable. I love that she can be loved, be herself, and grow in a safe, learning environment."

"Our general experience is not good. We are giving it 90 - 120 days, but we are actively looking for alternatives. The daily educational experience, artwork, and outside time must improve if we are to stay at this school. If this staff is not able to or does not want to align with the Childtime program, then we will move to another system (we are not going to try another Childtime school). We are hopeful that the staff at this school will adjust to the increased number of kids / families and that the program will improve significantly over the next 30 - 60 days, so that we can be proud parents with 3 kids attending this school and supporting this staff. We are hopeful and patient. If there is anything the staff needs from us, please do let us know. Our children are very important to us, and we want the best for them, which means the best needs to be provided to the school teachers that educate / mentor and coach them during the 40 - 50 hours per week. Childtime Daycare is more than a babysitter, we expect a good quality education for each of our children. The staff is well educated, but must apply that education, along with the Childtime system supporting adequate space, cleanliness and safe facilities. One addtional item that we feel is not warranted, is the latest change on flexible scheduling related to Beaumont families... Normally, we will have all 3 of our kids at school 5 days per week, however on occasion (ie doctor appointments, etc.) we will keep some of them home for a day here and there, to which we would expect to pay the # of days of attendance (4 instead of 5 per kid not attending). We are ok with rule changes, but when 1 rule changes in the benefit of Childtime (ease of scheduling and discount application) then when will it change to be a win-win... We are flexible and want to see the school succeed, but we are appreciative when that goes both directns (ie. School open 5 days per wk to incl. Feb 20 Prof. Dev. Day should not be closed, etc.)"

"The place is old, it smells, it's dirty and very small for the number of children you have. Not organized, tehre were toys all over the hall when we were walking, we tripped, the kids are all over the place, the teachers. It just ins't a place where our child would benefit or learn."

"Good exposure for child to learn at their own pace, attention provided by teachers and their knowledge of each child makes one feel very important."
