"I brought in the empty box of the generic Sudafed that said 20 on it. I pulled the card from the shelf that said 20. The girl pulls a box of 10 and charges me for it.
I wanted to see the box to make sure she was giving me the right thing. She did not do that. I was charged and there was no way for them to "return or exchange" it. THEIR EMPLOYEE MISTAKE with no way to override it by the manager. Who wants someone working in the pharmacy area that can't tell the difference between 10 and 20. And, what if she was helping with getting the medication? Bad experience with CVS. Not going back."
"Just waited forty minutes at a deserted drive up window for a six-hundred dollar cash pick up of medicines (all for poor me) at Long's in Waimea. When someone finally came to window after 30 minutes, the unpleasant pharmacist denied that my doctor had ordered insulin, although it is clearly ordered on Mychart and was on CVS.com. She demanded several times that I provide her the type and dose of the newly prescribed insulin from my car, which, of course, I did not have. How this information would have changed anything with an order she ignored, I do not know. This lovely transaction took place following my fifteen-hour Friday shift as a nurse practitioner. She was rude, insisted on calling me ma'am, told me she was "SORRY you feel that way" for inquiring about cost and tryinh to get the life saving drug my PCP had ordered. She did not even thank me when I ponied up six hundred dollars (with ample insurance coverage). I have served this underserved island community and three other states for > 24 years practiing psychiatry and addictionology but, as of this evening, I will NEVER send another patient or RX to any CVS in any of states where I currently practice. I am glad I have never treated any one of the thousands of patients I have served the CVS way."
"My employer health insurance requires me to purchase drugs and pharmacy services from CVS only. I'm starting to feel like I'm going to die sooner because of this poor healthcare.
I've been trying to make an Appt for a Vaccine at my local CVS for weeks now. It's in Hillsboro, Oregon Zip code 97123. CVS.com will only let me set-up appointments at stores hundreds of miles away from me. I went to my local CVS to ask for help, but they refused to help me. They told me I can't make an in-person Appt. So they gave me a 1-800 number that I have listened to for a couple of hours now, no-one ever answers it.
I just called my Customer Care Representative at CVS, from my insurance card. They told me that this wasn't their problem, and offered to transfer me to someone else, so I could complain, but instead they hung-up on me.
I'm just at my wits end. I try to keep the family health care in order, but CVS is making it impossible. They are causing damage to my health care and to my family's health care due to their dysfunctional business systems and lack of any real Customer Care.
I am a real person who works for Fortive Corp. My name is Jeff McDonald and my CVS Group No. is RX0241."
"The pharmacy closes for lunch. The whole thing ! 7 people all go to lunch at the same time ! They can't schedule 2 or 3 going to lunch at the same time like everyone else in America. No they lock up the whole pharmacy !!! I never heard of such a thing. WHAT A JOKE ! The prices on other goods in the store are the highest in town. W. 4th Street Mansfield Ohio. "
"Horrendous service. Pharmacists would rather argue than do their jobs. 40% of the time there is something wrong on their end. They always blame me or the doctors or Insurance company. I have complained to Managers of CVS repeatedly to no avail. I have been a customer for 30+ years and I will never set foot in any CVS again. "
"I had absolutely the worst experience at cvs yesterday. I went In to get my prescription and vitamins are buy 1 get 1 so I got them also. It took 30 min standing in a liberal with only 4 people in front of me but unfortunately that wasn't the problem. The guy rang me up and I asked if my cvs card was on my order and if I got my discounts. He said yes. I get home and I was charged full price so I had to go back . That still wasn't the big issue. The young lady at the register couldn't scan my receipt to give me a return and she couldn't read the receipt number. She called the manager, he told her to talk to supervisor on duty. She walked up with an attitude, made it sound like it was my fault and my receipt was non-compliant and she couldn't give me a refund. It's their machine that messed up my receipt. She told me I could go try at the pharmacy. I told her I was already in line for 30 minutes and my feet are killing me. I'm having surgery on them both in June. I came in for pain meds originally. I did have a raised voice at this point. No I was not yelling at all. She told me again she couldn't help me and I could try at the pharmacy. I told her I use to be a shift supervisor there also and I know for a fact that she can help me. She just didn't want to. The were completely dead up front and the pharmacy was crazy busy. Why couldn't she just do her job? Well she calls the cops on me as I'm walking to the back telling them she has an unruly customer that will not leave. OMG really... I told the person at the pharmacy that I just want a refund at this point and that he didn't give me my discount. The supervisor from up front came up to him and told him not to help me and the she was on the phone with the police. So he goes to the register and helps next in line so I go get in that line. The police show up while I was on the phone with customer service so I could have them look up my receipt number. They couldn't find it under my phone number even though it shows on my receipt that my care card was on it. So she said she would transfer me to credit card service and they could look it up for me. This is exactly what I Learned to do for a customer at cvs when their receipt number didn't work. I was on hold and the pharmacy couldn't do anything for me either because their machine messed up my receipt. So I continued to hold while I was holding I explained everything to the police.. everyone around me in line was agreeing with me and said they have had the same problem there. The police were super nice and even helped me out. Finally the pharmacy manager comes and says he can do a return without the receipt. Ok so I can get off the phone with customer service? He said yes. So I did... the kid rang up the product to give me refund. But this time when he rang the vitamins up they rang up buy 1 get 1 so I ended up only getting 41 of my 82 I spent on them. I gave my receipt to the officer and she added up exactly what I spent and told them they are wrong and he needs to refund the rest. He said he couldn't do that. So I said get your manager again. He said ok but he won't know what to do either. While he was gone the officer said what if you take the vitamins and he no longer owes you anything. I said perfect. That is what I wanted in the first place. I paid exactly what I would have for by 1 get 1.I.. so the manager came back and the officer told him her thought and he agreed. She put the stuff in the bag and gave it to me. They could not believe the supervisor called then because I was not being irate or causing a scene. I was 100% with in my rights. On my way out the supervisor and 4 other workers were watching the whole thing from the minute clinic. I told her on my way out that I told her she could have taken care of me. She made a comment and I said poor Lady as I kept walking to the door. She came running after me yelling at me to say it to her face b$T$H.. I turned and looked at her. The cops are running to her and I said poor lady again and as the cops were holding her back she said I ain't poor B$tch twice. The police looked at me while holding her back and asked me nicely to go. So I said have a great day and left. I will never return there again"
"horrible customer service and treatment!!"
"This was my first and last time at this pharmacy!!!!! If I could leave a negative review, I most certainly would!!!!! First Off, there were 4 technicians behind the counter, 1 of which was tending to the drive through, 1 to the counter, and 2 Pharmacists. The girl that assisted us the first time was nice I suppose. Was told 20 minutes. Came back in 20 minutes and was greeted by one of the pharmacists. She was EXTREMELY Rude!!! and said she would get to us when she can to which I replied, I was first in line and she said 20 minutes and I'm back to which she extremely barked, I will get to it when I can. I stood around waiting for another 5 minutes to hear my last name over the intercom. There was no line and I stood at the counter for 15 or more minutes and that is not an exaggeration!!!! Finally, the pharmacist waltzes over and by this point I was ****. I will tell you I have never ever been treated so POORLY in my life!!! Never Again!!!!"
"Do you like bureaucratic wild goose chases? Loss of your records? Confusion about appointments? Sub-par safety and hygiene conditions? Abysmal customer service?
You've come to the right Hell-scape for your torture needs.
Please, come in and have a seat. Someone will be with you to enhance your misery just when you're about to give up and walk out. "
"CVS was terrible in every way. It takes forever to reach them by phone. Their phone systems stinks. It does not respond to voice commands or two keyboard commands.
CVS totally messed up my prescriptions. I had three prescriptions at CVS and had two of them transferred to another pharmacy where it would be cheaper. When I called CVS to check on the third prescription they said they didn't have it. But the new pharmacy also didn't have it. My prescription got lost in the ether. I had to have my doctor call it in to the new pharmacy, where it cost a few extra dollars but it was worth it to not have to deal with CVS.
I will never use CVS again for anything."
"I had to set up an account to get the appointment for a PCR test and, later, get my results. I did but later I couldn't log in. I couldn't get a new user name; I couldn't create a new account-- they said they could not verify my identity and to call the service line. I tried that, was on hold for 15 minutes, with no end in sight. How long is reasonable to wait? I still don't know the results of the test.
There were probably ten text messages and emails associated with this venture. Including a 22 minute video they wanted me to watch before driving up. (I could have walked but they didn't seem set up for that.) I had to bring my identification and insurance card with me but they wanted me to photograph and send them pictures of the insurance card (both sides, mind you).
It's all supposed to be so easy. What happened to the days when you could call someone and talk to a human being and didn't have to fuss around with your cell phone multiple times? I have to create an account with a Login! and Password! just to file this comment. Jesus. "
"Went to the CVS on 38th st. in Myrtle Beach for a tetanus shot. When I started to ask the desk clerk how billing is handled she rudely said "sir, we know how to bill medicare" After I received the shot from the pharmacist I started to question her on the billing procedure and after reply that medicare refuse to pay she quickly turned her back on me and walked away.Today i filled out a form to send to medicare as I still am confused as to whether one was sent 21 days ago when I had the shot.Bad experience.

"They regularly don't have prescriptions filled on time. always a long line just to find out they don't have it or filled it wrong. Employees are polite enough but don't care about doing there job properly.
We as the consumer have the choice of spending our money with anybody so I'm choosing stores that care about there service and customers."
"Should have been forewarned, since the parking lot was almost empty on a Saturday afternoon. Needed a mineral suggested by my doctor, thought I would give them a try. It was a disaster almost from the beginning.
Yes, I found what I was looking for, but the cashier was sitting away from the counter, and got up slowly when I put my purchase on the counter. She was distant, uninterested and somewhat surly - only responding in mono syllables. Made my purchase and left - with receipt but without the offer of a bag.
Could have left it at that, but with all the other pharmacies nearby and decades of customer service work experience I could not leave it at that. Went back.
The clerk was still on duty. Told her as representative of a new business (first CVS in my hometown of Battle Creek, MI) she should be making every effort to encourage customers. "What are you talking about?" It went downhill from there. Returned my purchase, went a short distance to existing Rite Aide and found the same product for almost 20% less plus greeting when I walked in and a thank you for my business when I left.
On the following Monday I decided to call and asked for the manager. Killing time on my laptop, after several solitaire games I gave up and looked for a corporate number. Same thing there, heard several songs on hold and finally disconnected.
So now I write this review, and hope someone at CVS reads these and takes them seriously, because their investment in a new building in a prime location is going the be wasted if someone doesn't take things seriously."
"The pharmacist, Kurian Varghese, at store #10637, 6750 Reading Rd. Rosenberg, TX 77471 is the RUDEST person I have ever dealt with. He filled my prescription wrong and after waiting in line for 20 minutes he told be to come back tomorrow. I said "No, I have been waiting in line and it isn't my fault that you filled it wrong." Then I said "No wonder there are so many negative reviews on Google about you." He told me to go to a different pharmacy and not come back!!!! He has so many negative reviews online I don't understand why CVS keeps employing him. I'm an a disabled, chronic pain patient, I shouldn't have to keep driving to the pharmacy daily, or transfer to one further away from me. I just called 1-***-***-**** and made my second complaint against him with the District Manager."
