"It is always just plain bad over there at 1501 Independence Parkway in Plano, Texas."
"They are not even one star!!! First off the pharmacy is incredibly rude. I can't say that enough!!!! RUDE. And don't bother trying to talk to the store manager. He is just as rude and does not even know the District Managers name. Which if I am not mistaken it is on the wall with a picture. This pharmacy has given the wrong medication more than once to my father. How dangerous is this??? Very considering the meds they sent him home with. A bottle with someone else's meds in. And thank God he did not accidentally take it since you can't hardly mix anything with his meds. They lie all the time to him. Telling him you can pick it up this day and turn around and when he calls to get it they say nope sorry it will be this day. Most of the time they do not even have his meds in and he is waiting. This pharmacy has gone down way down.... And to allow your staff to be rude to customers thinking that is OK??? I can only hope people will start going somewhere else and let them stop making money off of good people to be treated like garbage. Due to treating a Parkinsons patient like you did and now making an er trip because of it. Thanks for everything CVS you are not a good place at all. We will be taking our business to a pharmacy that has at the least great customer service!!!!! We can definitely do better than you."
"My doctor wrote my prescription and specifically noted that I was not to get generic. Three times they have given me generic. After the first time I was told they would note it in my records. Guess someone cannot read. The second time they said it they would note it in which I said it was already done. She said it was not, so someone was lying along the way. This third time was enough for me. I do not know if they need to bold, use all caps, highlight it or what. How about just read the notes!!! The lady was very cool because i was beyond irate, continually wasting my time and gas. My husband or daughter usually pick it up for me because it is on their way home. I am the one who has to go back and get the right one.
This to me is a simple task. At some point sorry is not enough. Fix the problem. Train your staff. Find a solution. If they cannot even get simple birth control right what are they doing with other medication. It is my duty as a responsible citizen to warn others. Someone could die from this incompetence. "
"Went into the store on Thompson st.. In Springdale, AR to have my husband prescription filled. The young girl at the counter took the prescription when I ask how much it would be before they filled it. She got on the computer and worked on it for 30 minutes. I Kidd you not. Just so happened I checked the time before I went in. I finally told her to give it back to me and I would go somewhere else. I've never seen anyone so incompetent. She kept saying she didn't know what was wrong. I went to Walgreens and in less than 5 min told me how much it would cost and another 5min it was ready. "
"Not surprised to see other negative reviews here.
This is not about a purchase, but rather a comment I added to a review on their website. It incorrectly asserted that a product sold by CVS did not contain artificial sweetener even though the ingredient (Acesulfame K) is clearly listed in the description.
I posted a correction. Within a couple hours it was 'rejected' by CVS even though it did not violate any of their posting policies.
Apparently, CVS would prefer to leave an error posted their site than correct information. Not a good practice for a pharmacy IMO."
"They bill you twice or three times as much as other providers. They don’t give refunds when the medication leaves the store. Bad customer service. You will wait for hours. "
"Let this be a warning about allowing CVS Caremark to request a prescription from your doctor for online orders. Since 2010, CVS/Caremark has been handling prescriptions for the medical plan I am in. We are required to obtain 90 day refills for any long-term medicine use. Not 30 days, not 60 days, not 180 days, but 90 days. Period. End of options. 90 days.
In October 2017, I used the CVS Caremark website to request that the company contact a doctor for a prescription of a long-term maintenance medication that they have always handled in an orderly manner. I prepaid for a 90 day supply. CVS Caremark says that the doctor did not submit a prescription to them for a 90 day supply. Instead of contacting the doctor to correct the prescription and/or contacting me, CVS Caremark filled the order for around a 30 day supply and made no adjustment on the amount I had prepaid for a 90 day supply. I was unaware of what they had done until after the order had been shipped.
CVS Caremark refused to adjust the price I was charged, so I initiated an online dispute with the credit card company. The credit card company reversed some of the charges to match what CVS Caremark charges for a 30 day supply if you use one of the local CVS Caremark pharmacies for pickup. That credit card reversal is now final as CVS Caremark did not dispute the chargeback.
CVS Caremark's position is pay for the credit card chargeback or we'll turn the matter over to a collection agency. And if the doctor submits a prescription for a maintenance drug for a time period that isn't allowed in your medical plan, that's just too bad. We're going to ship to you and charge you for a 90 day supply even though you're only going to get maybe a 30 day supply or 60 day supply. We’re not going to call you and advise you of the discrepancy. We don't care. Pay up and shut up. Well, I'm not paying up and I'm not shutting up.
CVS Caremark has a great incentive to hope a doctor doesn't complete the prescription properly so the company can charge you for a 90 day supply but send you far less than what you prepaid for. I would suggest that if CVS Caremark is the company your medical plan uses, then be sure and make the doctor hand the prescription to you and handle everything yourself. Don’t let CVS Caremark get involved in obtaining a prescription, because if you have a really expensive drug you have to take, you may get taken to the cleaners by CVS Caremark. That could literally be thousands of dollars involved for some people.

"Had a new script filled and was sick when I picked up, didn't notice until 2 weeks later that a whole bottle of at least 30 was missing. CVS pharmacist manager supposedly said they would check into it because their counts were correct and for me to double check(how can u miss an entire bottle in those tiny bags?) She would also contact loss and prevention and call me back..its been 2 weeks and not a word. I'm now out of my med AFTER having to alter my dosage so I didn't run out over a week ago. They won't admit they made a mistake(maybe put in someone else's bag) or they flat out stole them. This isn't the 1st time it's happened either..but it'll be the last. CVS pharmacists act like they're God. THEY decide when to fill something or not fill it and they are perfect...wish we could all be as perfect as the cvs pharmacists and technicians...what a joke! The sad thing is, they're getting away with it. CVS is such a large company that nothing will be done and basically I'm wasting my time even writing this but if it's helps even 1 person it's worth it. "
"I was traveling had a anerysium spent a week in ICU. Got out resumed my travels went broke waiting on my check to deposit ran out of Meds. Parkersburg W Virginia CVS along with corporate office went to work to help. Troy brought my Meds from $140 down to $15.00. Outstanding job CVS you literally saved my life. Thanks Troy. Christine was the drive thru attendant that shared this info with me. Thank you . CVS putting people first should be your slogan. Most large corporations put money first, not CVS.

"i needed to buy a pre-paid card. the cashier told me to buy a card that was different than i one i already had. i asked her if the card worker for what i wanted, which was to buy games online. she asked another cashier and she said that it was better. when i arrived at my house, the card didn't work. one hour later, i returned to the store and i was told "sorry, gift cards cant be exchanged." which i was never told while paying."
"People in pharmacy very helpful and didn't have a long wait"
"The CVS PHARMACIST MINAHNGAN LE REFUSED TO PROVIDE ME WITH 3 LONER BLOOD PRESSURE PILLS. I HAVE BEEN REFILLING MY PRESCRIPTIONS IN CVS FOR OVER 10 YEARS, THIS LOCATION OVER 3YRS. "Today I have called four times at Schaumburg ***-***-**** to ask if my prescription is ready to pick it up. After waiting long time for them to answer, the lady said hold on and does not permit to talk a syllable. Then, after to wait almost 20 minutes finally the call is hung or simply no one answers. Is terrible customer service. I think the customers deserve respect.
Sincerely,
"

"In January, CVS took over my local Target Pharmacy. I was hesitant but knew that most of the staff would stay so I kept getting my prescriptions there. The customer service is still wonderful. The staff knows us. They are sweet, understanding and patient.
CVS, on the other hand, is a pain. At Target, when we filled 5 prescriptions, we received a card for 5% off our total Target purchase. CVS gives you a $5 CVS gift card after filling 10 prescriptions and has a dollar limit on how many you can earn in a year. Can I spend a CVS gift card at Target? No. Is there a CVS store near me. No.
Next, Target along with other chain stores had many generic prescriptions at $4 per month or 3 mos for $10. CVS does not have that. So now I am moving 7 prescriptions to WalMart. $70 for 7 prescriptions for 3 mos versus $200 for one month at Target. I have already moved 3 prescriptions to WalMart because of price.
Now, I am not a fan of WalMart. Their customer service is nothing like Target's. I would much rather go to Target for my prescriptions. I would much rather shop at Target. But since I won't be there on a regular basis, Target/CVS will lose my shopping business as well as my prescription business.
WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE CVS!!!!!! YOU ARE RUINING EVERY TARGET PHARMACY YOU ARE TAKING OVER!!!!!!!!!!!
