"I was so excited that I found the exact wedding invitations that I had wanted. I placed my order in September 2005 and now it's January 2006 and I never received a thing! I tried calling and emailing and never got anywhere. No one answered their calls, etc. I did call shortly after I place my order to ask a question and I did actually talk to a person who assured me I would have my invitations by November.........That's the last time I was ever able to get in touch with anyone. Also my credit card was billed right away, however it was billed from "creat a plush" not C&J Papers. I still haven't called my credit card company yet. I plan to do that soon. Also, if you go to their new web page they have a new number (1-***-***-****) and it gives you a new number to call and says it will cost $4.99 each minute. What a SCAM! I hope no one EVER buys a thing from these people!!!!! What a shame."
"I wish I would have checked this website for ratings or actually called C&J Paper because I wasted a lot of time dealing with these clowns. I have never had trouble with an online store and I order products all the time - even from third world countries!!! I wanted some invitations so C&J Paper had great products with great prices and a really nice website. I didn't call them (big mistake) I ordered online and got a confirmation email and they didn't waste any time charging my credit card. The website said orders would be shipped at the latest in 14 days, so I waited 3 weeks and didn't hear anything. I attempted calling them for the next 3 weeks, as well as, emailing them. I probably sent 10 emails and left 3 voice mails-but not one returned email or call. At times their voice mail was full so you couldn't even leave a message!!! It gets worse...so one day I write an email with the subject "I love my invitations" and write about how I think I got scammed. They wrote back and said that I had not been scammed and....nothing else, no information on shipping...nothing else, just an assurance that I had not been scammed. After 7 weeks I just called Visa and had them get my money back. The funniest thing is in the last week their voice mail message apologized for the poor service and stated that there had been a death in the family, but on the website it apologized for poor service because the owner is going through a divorce, AND ALSO the website states that they are moving and that is why they are not answering phone calls. I'm waiting for them to use the "dog ate my invitations" excuse. AVOID THIS "COMPANY" AT ALL COSTS. Try calling them yourself. I went to invitations by dawn and got wonderful service yesterday. They actually answer their phones! "
"There is no order number to enter--the company does not have a tracking system. The paper never made it to my house. The company never responded to e-mails, phone calls, or complaints to the BBB. This company has had over 40 complaints in the last 3 years. BEWARE!!!!"
