"In regards to godofuq comment below, Resellers beware. this customer is nothing but a liar and tries to get merchandise for nothing. This man placed an order and we tried numerous times to run his credit card which was not going through, we tried numerous times to contact this customer as well to let him know this and there was no answer nor any answering machine or voicemail. this man called back on 7-18-02 and said that he wanted it shipped next day air at our expense which would have been another $17.00 and we told him he would have to pay that as it was his card that was not going thru.
This man then threatened to post a bad comment on our company to reseller ratings and contact "people" if we did not ship next day air at our expense. we offered to get it out ground right away which he refused. he told us that this was a test and he was going to spend thousands of dollars if we shipped next day air at our expense (we have all heard these con stories before of people trying to get something for nothing) this customer who supposedly was going to buy for a company did not even have a company credit card/phone number/ or name.
We told him that we were going to credit his card back right away which we did 1/2 hour after it went thru, and to please not order from us again. this man has kept calling harassing myself and other employees,(he is very insecure about himself).
As you can see from the other comments below we are always getting numerous compliments and normally get orders out the same day.

"In response to the above comments, I must say that this guy is getting even worse with the lies. I originally indicated that I did not have a problem with the order being shipped via ground service as that is what I paid for. However, I did tell Rocky that I would not look to be doing future business with him if he didn't even attempt to satisfy me with this one small transaction. He told me that he refused to do it so I said fine, send the order ground service, which is what I paid for, and we'll call it quits after this one order. That is when he became irrate, started yelling and told me that he was cancelling my order. I have not been harassing them on the telephone. I have called twice today, 7/19, to try to have the authorization removed that they placed on my credit card and which they are now holding illegally on it. The first time, Rocky got on the telephone and started yelling and hung up. The next time, they placed me on hold and never came back. I don't expect anything for free or anything that I did not pay for. However, I did indicate that if he was not willing to even attempt a small favor to keep my business, he wouldn't see me in the future. In regards to my company, I elected to place a small, personal order first before I embarassed the rest of my staff by having to deal with this company. Anyone can obviously see, now, that it was a very intelligent move on my part as now I don't have to explain to my entire staff why we're constantly having to fight with a company that's supposed to be doing us a service. I only wish I could have seen this gentleman post a comment on here before. On top of his numerous grammatical errors, I don't feel comfortable even thinking of placing an order with a man that has an 8th grade or less writing style.
I placed a $12 order on Sunday July 14th. I didn't want to spend a great deal of money on my first purchase but was more than willing to do $1100+ per month through my company if it was a good transaction. I emailed the company on Tuesday as I hadn't heard anything and I never received a response. I contacted them back on Thursday via phone to find out what was going on. I spoke with John and it took him 15 minutes just to find my order. He put me on hold to call his boss, I guess to find out what to say to me because they never processed my order. He came back and wouldn't tell me anything about it and told me he had to call me back. When he finally did, he told me a story stating that my credit card didn't go through. I placed 3 other orders that day all under $100 each and this was only a $12 order. It would not have been refused. So I reviewed all of the information and it was correct and he put it through and it magically worked this time. I asked him to ship the order overnight and, after another call to his boss, he came back and refused that idea. So, I asked that the manager contact me back when he get back in the office. A half hour later, I got a call back from Rocky. Rocky continually cut me off mid conversation and never allowed me to finish what I was trying to say. Long story short, I asked Rocky to ship the order overnight to me for the trouble and he refused to do so saying that the trouble was on my end. I told him I contacted my bank as soon as I got off the phone with John and they advised that Cables.cc never tried to put an authorization through until the day I spoke with John, 4 days after my order has been placed. Even if the bank had refused the authorization, it would have still showed in their system. Rocky told me that if he were to spend a little extra money shipping the package overnight, he wouldn't be able to feed his children. I can see why with his attitude. I was as calm as could be and told him that I wanted this order but if he could not ship it overnight, I wasn't going to do any future business with the company. He began to yell, called me a fool and an idiot and told me he didn't want my business, canceled my order and hung up on me. I have never been treated so rudely in my life. Needless to say, I am still trying to get Cables.cc to release the payment authorization they are holding illegally. Do not do business with this company!"
