The 3000 Series Waterproof and Crushproof Case holds my Ti-89 Titanium model calculator with a little room to spare. I have the optional stand/cover made for the Ti-89 Titanium (the optional Ti stand/cover is slightly taller than the standard Ti cover and is available from the Ti website). The calculator, equipped with that optional Ti cover/stand, fits nicely in the 3000 case with a little room to spare (the case when closed does not crush the calculator).
I rest easier knowing that my calculator has the added protection of the case; I carry the calculator in my backpack with my textbooks and the calculator case provides extra protection from being crushed by those books. Be aware that the case adds some weight and bulk to your backpack.
