"Have been using for years.
Then they added punishing fee (for NOT-auto-refill), Adjusted.
Promos disappeard. Rolled with prior momentum.
Now taxed (rather high).
See some extra fee.
There is just no point anymore...
Now they "don't have your e-mail address" after years of usage and still HAD my e-mail less than a month ago. Thousand bonus points unused....
Customer service exists (but not rushing: this one is a tie)
Recommend?... Not at the moment"
"I purchased a $100 refill pin for my T-Mobile to Go account. T-Mobile says it came up as a canceled order. Paypal shows no cancellation. I cannot get in touch with Callingmart to correct the problem. I cannot get PayPal to open an issue. Nobody answers their phones, nobody has a rep to tend to a customer, nobody pays attention. This is the first time, in years, I've had a problem with CallingMart, but I stand not only to lose the $100 but $288.65 in rollover minutes."
"the only choice to pay is thru paypal. I can't use or add credit cards to my account."
"Now, it's all Bait & Switch, or they are "out of" the refill you need. This is AFTER accepting the order and charging your card."
"Cheaper that autopay with AT&T prepaid. Easy to setup monthly refill and it is directly loaded into my account.
Thanks CallingMart"
"Only place I get my prepaid refill cheaper than autopay "
"The $1.00 processing fee is more like a fine for not using auto refill, but if I use auto refill I can not time my purchase with holiday discounts. I have been using this company for years but greed is a terrible thing, if they stop holiday discounts there will be no reason to use them anymore. Once upon a time I recommended callingmart to my friends, but no more ."
"These guys are sucking worse and worse. Got an email from them saying they have a new discount for Page Plus @ 5%. Yippee!!! The old discount was just 2%.
Except NOW they charge a $1.00 fee on a $10.00 card (a whopping 10% fee), so guess what? The new discount is actually WORSE than the old discount of 2% because of new fees.
Oh, and the best part? The reason why they have new fees:
"This minimal fee allows us to recover increased costs associated with selling this product via online delivery. However, you will still accumulate CallingMart reward points, get discounted pricing and pay NO TAX."
Hahaha, "It costs us so much for us to email pin codes to you we now charge you 10% more."
Used to like these guys, now they are no better than everyone else. Last time I buy from them."
"I used to use this service, but with the recent addition of them charging service fees along with your purchase, you aren't really saving much at all. I only saved 50 cents, and that's not worth the trouble for me. My last purchase from them was indeed my last purchase from them."
"As I was trying to refill someone used my account to charge over $500. I have a $21 point credit and they will not give it to me because I cancelled the card they have on file. All i asked them for was $19 in refill. and they do not need my card. But they wont they are rip offs."
"I just refilled my back up phone by using topup/refill, but accidently entered my non-back up phone number! Sent them a message, and got my back up phone refilled within 7 minutes of me placing the order with the wrong phone number. Thank you for the quick response! "
"FYI: CallingMart.com is owned and operated by GlobalConnet, LLC headquartered in Miami, FL so this review is actually about GlobalConnet, LLC.
I don't believe in 5 stars = NOBODY is perfect but this company comes close, say 4.9/5(or 9.8 out of 10, an "A".).
I've been using CaliingMart, primarily for TRACFONE renewals, exclusively since Feb 2016 but started using CallingMart in 2013. They always do what they say they are going to do. This last purchase was no different than the dozen or so others. I placed the order, paid via PayPal and within minutes had the confirmation and PIN in my email. Usually I can finish the task by using the emailed PIN as soon as it arrives in the email. I do usually wait that long. Today I waited about 30 minutes while doing other stuff(e.g., this review).
Prices are slightly less than what TRACFONE charges for Auto-refill(with discount) so as long as they continue providing the expected excellent service at such competitive rates I will continue using CallingMart.
I particularly like that they allow payment via PayPal, which keeps me from having to give AYA vendor CC or bank information.
That being said there was a delay back in 2014. I contacted Calling Mart and they responded promptly. They said the delay might be as much as a day but it was cleared within a few hours. Smooth sailing since then.
I am sure there are others that can be used but I see only one reason why: auto-renewal has not been available. I often forget to renew on time ...
However, CallingMart.com has recently started an Auto-Purchase program to schedule refill purchases for a mobile phone but I have not tried it, yet. If it works as desired, there will be NO reason to use anybody else(for my TRACFONE phones at least).
EDIT
Neither the Auto-Purchase or the Auto-Reminder will be used by me as either is currently(180825) setup. Auto-purchase does not allow PayPal and Auto-reminder does not have 60, 90 or 120 day reminders, ...both of which omissions are pretty * stupid if one thinks about it.
Oh well, like I wrote, nobody's perfect.
/edit."
"I've ordered from CallingMart so far in July and August 2018, and both times it never refilled instantly! So I tried it again in July and August, which resulted in a double order, but still never refilled my phone, except in July. I finally had to call them to straighten it out. I never had a problem with PrePaid Bill Inc. - But my plan has changed and Total Wireless is not offered yet."
"Each screen in website takes lot of time, around 4 minutes to respond back. To complete a single purchase it takes around 20 mins. Very bad user experience for purchase.."
