"I use Callingcardplus to call Ethiopia. I did try other cards, and long distance services, but always had difficulty either with the software they want you to use on your phone or computer.
I use the Brilliant card. I like the speed dial function.
The system lets you enter the phones (one or more) you use to dial, which are connected to your pin. So just dial the number, of which they have tons of connection points. The system recognizes your phone number and thus no pin to remember.
Then dial a speed dial number, like 2#, and it connects you. Simple as that.
Add as many speed dial numbers as you like.
Reload is either auto, or manual. I do manual, and always use the 5% off for $30 purchase.
Prices right in line. No charge if the in country phone system is down, which it is down a lot in Ethiopia. This is something else that is different than competitors that charge just for calling.
