"Camera Lens Rentals is awesome! I typically use another rental company, but they were out of the flash I wanted to rent with the camera equipment. I then placed an order for the flash with another company that I had used in the past, but had stopped using because their shipping rates are ridiculous. I needed the flash on a Friday and the company I ordered it from showed it in stock on their website (which they claim is real time), but then called me the next day to tell me there was a mistake and they didn't have it (It was now Thursday). The other company wanted me to pay the upgrade fee for a different flash AND wanted me to pay for overnight shipping, even though it was not my fault that their availability of the flash was incorrect and they made a poor attempt to contact me to let me know that. I would have ended up paying nearly $90.00 to rent a flash for three days and the bulk of that would have been for shipping alone. In a panic, I found Camera Lens Rentals, but not being familiar with their order process, I did not see an option for overnight right away. I called and spoke to a very nice woman who told me that they could still get it out to me in time for one day shipping but that their UPS guy was coming in an hour so to place an order right away. This was around 2:30 in the afternoon EST when I placed the order and they got it out to me and it arrived the next day as promised!! I could not have been happier. The screw up of another company could have cost me a very unhappy client. The guy at the other company that messed up told me that they are too busy to contact customers when there is an issue and made up every excuse in the world for their mistake. Not good customer service at all!! My only issue is that Camera Lens Rentals does not carry the stock that some other companies do, so it is hard to rent the exact set up from them that I need. However, whenever I need additional items, I will definitely be back. Oh, and they are one of the very few lens and camera rental retailers online that actually carry Pentax products...other places stick to the big 2...canon and nikon. I will definitely be testing out some Pentax lenses in the future from them! Thank you for coming through on getting it to me on time and not trying to charge me an insane amount to get it to me!"

"This was my first experience at renting photography equipment. I chose a 10-22mm wide angle lense for my trip to the Grand Canyon. I decided to rent because the location called for a super wide angle and I wasn't sure I wanted to invest in that lense long term. I take macros and close-up scenery usually.
This was a great experience for me. The lense was just what I hoped for. I did find that the thickness of the polarizing filter on top of the UV filter did cause some vignetting with this particular lense. The company delivered as promised, return was easy and I thought the cost was fair.
I belong to several photography forems and will certainly recommend renting from Camera Lense Rentals. Several friends have expressed interest in rentals. Great job and you can certainly expect more business from me in the future."
"I am so glad to have found a company that rents Pentax lenses! They have every Pentax lens or item I could want to rent for an event. The lens I rented was in brand-new condition (sometimes I worry when renting from a new place). Be sure you have a shipping address that is convenient to receive packages at (such as your office) as they ship UPS (and UPS has a very large potential delivery window). Overall, I could NOT be happier with my rental experience (super personalized customer service, too, added bonus!). I will definitely use CLR again. "
