"It seems that they really do have a shiiping problem. I received an email stating that the product was shipped that same day I placed the order (Thursday, long before 2:30pm) but the product was actually picked up by FedEx the next day at 4pm. That delayed the delivery by two days. But I did get the product on Monday without paying any extra.

"i was completely unimpressed and most annoyed at the ridiculously terrible service that i received on my order. while i was quoted a 24 hour processing, it took well over 2 weeks, two emails, 1 phonecall to actually get my product. then i was kept on hold inordinate amounts of time. in short, a terrible experience and i will never use this company again. shipping was free and i guess you get what you pay for since it should never take that long to ship anything from within the US."

"Overall, I have to give these guys a medium rating. I ordered a Garmin Streetpilot i5. The initial purchase was perfect - no problems ordering, got my confirmation email immediately, and the package was sent. Unfortunately, Fedex sent it to the wrong place. This was not Caplink's fault. Caplink asked me to file a claim, and then they promised to send me another item as soon as they had the claim number. I got them the claim number, but for the next four days, I was told that it would be shipped "that evening", but I wouldn't receive a tracking number so I would have to call the next morning. This was VERY frustrating. The customer service reps were fine, but they could stand to get better shipping. However, I needed the GPS no later than 6/8, and told them that, and they agreed to overnight the package to me so that I had it in time. The unit came on 6/8, when I needed it, so Caplink did come through for me.
Overall, I think their shipping operations need to be tightened up. It was apparent that the customer service rep was speaking to shipping and the shipping department was giving them bad information. However, I do give them credit for overnighting the package to me (at their own cost) to make sure I got it when I needed it. That definitely counts for a lot."
