"Shipping was slow & I called asking why. I left a message on a voicemail. I got a return call the next day explaining that there was bad weather in the shipping location. I received the item a few days later. The vase arrived packaged well, but had two small flaws in the crystal. There were bubbles that were visible (but very small). I was giving it as a gift. I gave the gift explaining that I was planning to return it, but wanted to have a gift in hand on the special day. The recipient of the gift said they liked the symbolism that "even the most beautiful things have small flaws that aren't readily apparent to the eye". They decided to keep it :-). Overall, I am hesitant about ordering again, but the price was better than I could find elsewhere. I think I would give Capitol Supply another try."

"I ordered something that was on backorder on December 30, and got a phone call the next day saying they expected it to be in their warehouse on January 5. I was excited about the service, since they called me personally to make sure that the backorder was okay. However, it is now January 25, my order has not arrived and I have not heard a word from them. I have emailed them twice to find out what is going on, but have had to reply. They charged my credit card immediately, but I have nothing to show for it. I am quite upset."

"Very difficult transaction. When I placed the order, the web
page said every thing was in stock. The confirmation email
said one item was discontinued and they were sending a substitute. Within 10 minutes I email them to cancel the complete order. The substituted item was not the same construction/quality as the original. The other items were to get free shipping. They shipped the whole order. They issued TWO RMAs. They wanted the items returned to two different locations, two different ways. I couldn't return them in one box and make one trip to the UPS store. The first box I took to the UPS store. The second box was a home pick-up. I told Capitol to have UPS pick up after 5pm because no one would be home. When I got home I had a note on the door saying UPS would try 2 more times for pick-up. Capitol then told me they couldn't specify when UPS would pick up. I ended up keeping the second box."

On the 13th, the order status still said "In Process (Released to Vendor)" and so I contacted customer service again and was finally provided a tracking number. Product finally arrived on Dec 14.
