"Once we figured out the car cover we purchased was not going to work for us, we tried to return it. The process is ridiculously slow with emails going back and forth between us and customer service. Another negative is that returns are at the customer's expense, which is practically unheard of in the online shopping world. I looked into shipping it back, and it would have cost me a lot and because of COVID, I didn't want to go inside the post office to mail it back. I ended up keeping the cover (even though I'm not going to use it) and accepting a partial refund of my money. I'm not impressed with how this company treats its customers. "

"Years ago, from another source, bought and owned a $200 Noah cover and was waterproof perfect for 3 years. Then got soft and mushy and started leaking water.
From another source, bought the upscale Weathershield HP for $400. Leaked like a sieve. Left this review on Coverstore website, but didn’t ever get posted:
“Used my $400 cover for less than a week. First day, it rained, car was totally soaked. After days of dry, morning dew. Car was totally soaked. Lots of running around with Coverstore: emails, pictures, lotsa text about nonrefundable. Two weeks later, got RMA and sent cover back to Covercraft. They tested it, failed once, and said it just needed cleaning after 3 months of use. No one at these companies is paying attention. No consideration. Never again Coverstore, Covercraft. Way expensive for no customer service.”
Took a chance on CarCover.com as their prices were cheaper than most. But they are THE ONLY ONE ON THE WEB THAT STILL USES THE WORD, “WATERPROOF”. Everybody else weasels around the words ‘water resistant’ which means, the cover doesn’t want to leak but probably will!?!?
Just got my $160 Gold Shield 5L cover from CarCover.com and over weekend we had terrible weather: rain, turning to snow with heavy winds. I checked for wetness before and after each storm. DRY! COMPLETELY DRY! And with the belly straps (that no other cover I owned had) no wind issues either. Fit was excellent and tight although could have used an extra inch or two at the ends.
Shockingly, all other sites stated 3-4 weeks shipping for a custom cover. I received this cover inside ONE WEEK! Amazing. 5 STARS PLUS!"
"I paid an extra 25.00 2 day delivery charge. 5 days later and package finally delivered in the afternoon by UPS. Company says it will refund me the 25.00 rush handling charge, but it will take 10 full business days before I see that credit on my credit account; we'll see."
"AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We purchased a RV cover from them on Feb 24th, 2020. We bought the Gold Shield 5L for $314.99 due to the advertised statements they made which made it seem like a great product. Those statements included protects against desert heat, 100% water resistant, full lifetime warranty, and guaranteed to fit perfectly or your money back. The warranty part specifically states "The warranty protects you against any defects, soiling, fading, disintegration, stains, rips and normal use of the cover. The cover is made to last a very long time, therefore we are sure that none of these condition will happen."
We received the RV cover around March 1st and put it onto the RV. Right away, it didn't "perfectly fit" as they guarantee and instead was way too big. We just tied it around the front and disregarded that flaw. But then it started to fall apart and literally flake apart. We used it from ~ March 1st to mid May (roughly 2.5 months use) when we removed it to go on our 3 week summer trip with our RV. The top was completely failing and falling apart. It would shred to the touch leaving large holes in the top that we had to patch.
When we got back from our trip, and placed the cover back on the RV is when the larger rip occurred on top just by grabbing it (due to the flaking and disintegrating of the cover). We contacted their customer service asking for a replacement on June 24th sending photos as well. They responded the same day stating that we must pay $95 shipping to replace it. We responded asking why we had to pay $95 for shipping when their product failed after just 2.5 months of use. We also asked where the cover would be shipped from to try to see if we could pick one up instead or see why the shipping was so high. We asked to speak with a manager as well. They responded on June 25th that the best they can do is $75 for shipping and that they replace the cover under the warranty but do not pay the shipping. They still failed to disclose where it was coming from or give any way to contact a manager. After responding that we'd like to speak with a manager again, they finally sent a number.
Some other things came up and we didn't have a chance to contact the manager for a few weeks. On 7-13-20, we called. Right away the male on the other end was irritated that someone called that number. After explaining what had occurred, he stated it would be $95 for shipping. He stated that they offer a warranty but not a guarantee on their products. He finally told me that they ship from I believe Canada. When I refused to pay $95 for another cover that will just fail again, he said he can reduce it to $75 but no further. When I again refused and advised him I would be posting reviews about their company and product based off our experience, he stated he could go lower but it still wasn't low enough. We advised him that we are not paying more than $25-30 for another cover that will last a few months. The male manager then called me a liar, stating that I was going to post false things about their product and company. I was so upset that I was done and just hung up.
We filed a complaint with the BBB against the company as their product did not fit perfectly as they guaranteed, their product completely failed after just 2.5 months of use, and their customer service called us liars. They responded to that complaint that they will replace it for the full $95 shipping fee now.
AVOID this company at all costs! Their customer service is the worst we have ever received and their products are absolutely horrible. Don't believe their advertised claims of perfect fitment or money back, or sure their products won't fail. They are both false and they won't back their products or advertised claims. "

"The cover does not fit as pictured on their website. It's short and comes off with just a little wind. Also, they don't make enough room for the satellite radio antenna which is almost coming through he cover. I reached out to customer service and they offered me a 20.00 discount. What good is that, I spent 160.00 on the cover, if it rips due to an incorrect fit it becomes worthless. Also, the straps are directly in the center of the wheels so they are worthless. Customer service is horrible and they don't respond.
