"Avoid this seller. I bought 2 kits. One worked the other did not. They sent out ballasts with the wrong polarity. I phoned and messaged with them more than half a dozen times. They never get back to you. You have to keep calling. The last straw was when they said they were going to send a relay. I told them I didn't need one, that wasn' the problem. They said they're sending it. I said OK. 10 days later nothing shows up. I messaged them again. They said it was out of stock. I told them I was going to file a Paypal dispute. They said they just put the unit in the mail. I told them I would wait for it to arrive. I asked for a tracking number they would not provide one they just kept insisting the part was in the mail. I emailed them about the problem and had stated that it was probably a relay issue, they replied back stating that they would send me a new set of bulbs. "All I can say is WOW! This company has firmly secured my rating of the absolute worst customer service I have ever received from any company. Congratulations Carxenonhidkits.com Purchased a 35 watt kit. Shipped it to me in less than one week. Here it is nearly two months, countless emails, on line support later and I still don't have the correct cables to hook this up to my vehicle despite repeated promises from Carxenonhidkits that I would receive the necessary cables. The explanations for the lack of proper cables varied with every communication. If you get lucky and get all the correct parts the deal is good because the kits are inexpensive. If you need any support then you are basically screwed. Customer support and sales don't have the slightest clue. I kept records of all my communication. Documented all the on line support chat, kept the email from sales and support. All made promises to ship the correct parts within days which never ever happened. If you buy from this company it will be a roll of the dice if you get what you paid for. My suggestion is to pay with a credit card ONLY. If they screw up....just ship it back to them with tracking and cancel the payment on your card. Simple and effective.
PS....I ordered 35 watt but they are more like 15 watt when hotwired together. "

"Kit arrived on time as expected. When I tried to contact seller to return it immediately (changed my mind), they stalled and would continue to argue that I should want to install it. I contacted them 3 times to request an RMA#. Eventually they provided one, but only after I opened a Claim with PayPayl. I returned the item per their instructions, yet 7 weeks later, they still haven't refunded my $99+. I would never recommend to anyone. Customer Service is a joke at best..."

"This company, as the name indicates, sells HID (High Intensity Discharge) headlight conversion kits for high beam, low beam and fog lights for most cars on the road. Their order and delivery service is very good. It is hard to determine from their site if they are located in the US, Canada or China.

The problems begin if there is a problem with the product ordered. In my case the 9006 55W HID Conversion Kit was easy to install, but did not operate very well. When the headlights were turned on it would take anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds before the lights were up to a safe brightness level.

I contacted Car Xenon HID Kits by e-mail about this problem, and they made several suggestions to correct the problem. They decided the problem was that I needed and error canceller capacitor, which they would send to me immediately. Immediately to them meant they would wait a week before it was even shipped. They finally arrived and were installed, but did not solve the problem in any way whatsoever. They then told me that they would send me load resistors, which they guaranteed would solve the problem. They told me I would have them by the end of that week. The following Friday I checked and they had not even been sent yet. But I was assured I would receive them on Monday. On Monday they were finally shipped, from China. All through this process their e-mails have been filled with lies. Virtually nothing I have been told was the truth. The Load Resistors did not, in any way, solve the problem.

CarXenonHIDKits finally said I could return the kit, which they told me would cost $11. I was told to insure the package for $15, and was given an address in Canada to which I was to send the Kit. However, with the size of the box, and the weight, 3lbs 2oz, to send it by First Class USPS it was going to cost about $25. Since the original cost of the kit was about $90, that would mean that return shipment would cost about 27.8% of the original cost. And they refuse to refund the return shipping costs.

The biggest mistake I made was buying directly from the company's web site. If I bought through a merchant on eBay I would have been fully covered and this junk would not have cost me any money in the long run. Unfortunately, and probably by design, CarXenonHIDKits does not sell through eBay or Amazon. I suspect they find it more profitable to stay away from the quality requirements and customer service standards of those two sites.

I will not be returning the Kit until I have completed my investigations with the US and NC Departments of Transportation. I do not know if these lights were legal, but they were definitely unsafe. The kit has been removed and halogen bulbs put back in."
