"Absolutely deceptive website. It tells you can get a report for $1 but they immediately charge your visa card for $19.95. I came to this resellerratings website and read the horrible reviews. I immediately went to chat with "carinfo2" and was told they'd cancel my account and I "will never be charged again". My credit card has NOT been credited. I have the feeling that they are keeping my $19.95.
Any ideas on how to proceed other than disputing the charge with my Visa bank ?
Ok, I did get my $19.95 credit. I am glad I checked this website to find out the problems. I don't usually check out my bank balance as carefully as I should, especially at this time of the year.

I happened to ask their live customer service chat (which were very nice) They told me I chose a package that was $19.95 but I was never given a chance to choose anything.
When I did a Google search for a vin number, one of the results was their web site stating that for a 1$ you could check your car VIN history. They make you register and give a credit card number to be charged for the 1$ but instead of a dollar, they charge you $19.95.
I've requested a refund immediately. DO NOT get ripped off by these people!! Stay away from this site. This company is a total scam!"
"Bought what I thought was a dollar history report. Boy was I wrong. Got charged 19.95 and would have gotten charged 120 bucks over the course of six months?! This is absolutely a fraud. The fact that if you google carinfo, it jumps straight to the refund page should say something about the integrity of this company and the confidence they have in their own product. I encourage everybod who has been involved in this same scam to post on all scam/fraud websites. "

When I did a Google search for (VIN Check), one of the results was their web site stating that for a 1$ you could check your car VIN history.. I thought it was safe to try.. Shame on me.. They make you register and give a credit card number to be charged for the 1$ and end up charging you $19.95
I've asked for my refund right away and was told my money was returned to my credit card, but 2 weeks later and nothing happened, I've contacted them again and got the same response, "Your refund has been done" I have both transcripts from the chat saved too. I now have to wait another 5 days to see if a refund was made and if not (which I believe I will not get a refund again) I will take legal action.
Hope no one else gets ripped off by these people!! Stay away from this site.. It is worth getting a report from another trusted vendor as this one is a total scam!"
"Complete scam. Took a long time to run and search. Then asked for my credit card for a $1 charge for the report. This created an account where there was no report. My credit card was charged $19.95 for a monthly membership and after a lengthy chat they finally cancelled remaining charges. Stay away!"
