"I just received my new card and the sticker on it told me I needed to register my email address for activation. Typing the stickers exact letters (http://CareCredit.com/RegisterEmail) you receive a 404 error (Page Not Found).

OK, so I'll dial the phone number the 404 page it tells me to call and says they have Customer Service 24/7. But, the computer that answers the phone does not identify itself as CareCredit so I hang up and redial to make sure I did not misdial. I had not misdialed, same message.
The first thing this number asks for is my Credit Card number. When I refuse, because at this point I do not have a lot of confidence in this company. It asks me for my Social Security number. What are these people thinking, that's even if they are CareCredit. They are calling them something else in the out going message.
After refusing to enter my SSN, the computer finally transfers me to an agent. I thought OK, maybe I can get somewhere now. After all the advertising about the things I can do on their web site, like register my email, it switches me to Customer Server. This message says, the company is now closed. What happened to the 24/7 from the 404 page.
Beware about these folks, they VERY LIKELY NOT the people they claim to be and this could be a scam.
