"Ordered parts for the rack on my truck in mid-June. Two months later, no parts and no messages of shipping dates or info on delays. Parts showed “in stock” when ordered. Website says ships in 3-5 days. Don’t believe any of it. Emailed them twice, no response. Fortunately the order was under $20 and I can accept the loss. My bad for not researching this abysmal company. "
"I ordered crossbars back in April 5th, and one month later I don't have any news about my order. I call them and the guy says I should receive it end of May/beginning of June. Never got my order. I call back to cancel and no apologies. I ordered the same crossbars from etrailer.com and voila, 1 week later and I have my item.

Stated shipping was 1 to 7 days and when they sent my confirmation. It was 3 weeks out. I would not have putchased the rack had i known it would have taken so long. I tried to contact no reply. I will say the price was good and if you have time to wait then my rating would be higher"

"I ordered a roof rack from Cargo Gear because they had the best price and best information on the rack. One of the things I ordered was straps to hold my kayak securely on the rack. These Sport Rack straps were the garbage as the tag end wouldn't go through the cam buckle and easily frayed. I had to knot them to get my kayak safely back home. I couldn't understand why they would send me such an inferior strap. I emailed them to request a return and after 24 hours I've yet to hear from them. I had to go ahead and order straps from Amazon so I could get my kayak back out on the water. I would think that Cargo Gear should've responded right away and sent me new straps overnight with a call tag to take back the inferior straps. Price may be king but good customer service will keep a customer. Not the case with Cargo Gear. I won't be back."
