"I have been buying and wearing carhartt clothes coats shirts jackets pants most of my life 40 years same thing for most of my family. Unfortunately what I have been seeing is a decline in product quality and longevity over the years. Pants that used to last me two or three years I now have to replace every year t-shirts that would hold up for two years now have to be replaced after about 8 months. The size consistency between different foreign manufacturers is also a little ridiculous. My parents used to say carhartt was a brand that you can trust to go the distance and was worth every penny you would spend because you were buying a quality amarican made product that can out work you no matter what job you did. Sadly that statement I feel is no longer a reality. Yes I do still bye carhartt however if you're quality continues to go down and your prices continue to go up I am afraid that that the cheap crap at Walmart will be the way to go."
