"They take your card and charge you. You had first to agree that they are allowed to modify the prices in case of "errors" and have the liberty to cancel your order as well in order to "protect" Toyota from financial loss if they sell you something.
It is not Toyota's fault, it is the government that lifted whole bunch of "consumer protection" measures and laws making any merchant a "God".

"I called the parts department and got an answer "hello?" I had to ask if this was Toyota. Next I asked to verify my order and if the parts were ready for pickup. Do note on the webpage they did not show out of stock. I also was placed on hold with no indication as such other than I could hear he placed the phone down and was talking to someone in the background. Then I was told it would be 24 days before it might be available for pickup. The funny thing is I never gave the order number, part # or what not. I am still unsure how they knew what I ordered. As of this writing I am still unsure about my Toyota part order but will be waiting to May 10th and call again."

"Ordered a part online. They could tell me when I can pick it up so called the parts department they were rude and couldn't tell me when I would get the part. If they don't really wan to sell parts they shouldn't."
