"They refuse to honor the life warranty after I received a defected item. They also don't reply to my email or answer my phone calls. Terrible company!
I purchased an Ultrashield Cover at their ebay store(luxuryspace): 2010-2013 Chevy Camaro Coupe Custom Car Covers CarsCover Ultrashield Cover (ebay item number 400694241976). By calling carscover.com at ***-***-****, they confirmed that seller luxuryspace is themselves. When I purchased the product several month ago, it clearly says "life time warranty" in its description. However, when I found out that the product is defected and tried to contact them in various ways, they didn't reply to me at all and refused to talk to customers even on phones.
I bought this item several months ago, but just started to check and use this car cover recently. The item is completely different from what was described and is defected: 1 The quality is terrible and the item broke right away. The buckle strap and the elastic ropes at both left and right sides of the cover broke when I used it for the second time without a strong wind, even though I fastened the cover correctly. This cover is no longer functional just after one time. 2 The size of the car cover doesn't fit my car and is definitely not customized as described. The mirror pockets are 10-time larger than the mirrors of my car. Also the locations of the pockets are not aligned correct, and after several attempts I cannot put the mirrors of my car into a position where the mirrors cannot get scratched. 3 The material and design is not as described. The cover is only 2 layers, rather than the advertised "5-layer", and the bottom layer keeps falling on my car potentially damaging the paint of my car. 4 The item was advertised with "life time warranty", but when I called the seller about the quality issues the seller said there is no warranty. 5 The seller has a terrible customer service. I contacted the seller through a lot of ways: sent ebay messages twice, left messages on their external website once (www.carscover.com), called them three times at ***-***-****, and send them an email to ****@**** with detailed pictures about the defected product. However, they never replied to my messages or emails. When I finally called them, they had a terrible attitude, demanded me to send pictures about the item, and promised to reply to me within 24 hours. However, that was just another lie. I sent the pictures showing defects and non-functional item, but they never replied to me. Now I am seeking help from BBB to report this fraud company. This purchasing transaction was simply a fraud by this terrible seller who doesn't even dare to face their customers.
