"I placed an order with cartoonpassion.com on July 25. This order was for a birthday present for my 13 year old from her 15 year old sister. The order didn't come to much monetarily, but my 15 year old was excited for her younger sister to have these things. I recieved an order confirmation e-mail on July 25 and the money was taken from my account on July 28. The e-mail states that it can take 3-4 days to process the order and that they will "atempt" to contact you if the order cannot be delivered within three weeks. On August 5, when I still hadn't recieved a shipping notice after 8 days (and my order status at their website still did not show the items to have been shipped) I sent an e-mail asking to know when I might expect the items to be shipped. I recieved no response. I have since sent three more e-mails, on Aug. 10, 12 and 13, and have not recieved a response to any of them. Today is three weeks from the day the payment came out of my account. Friday will be 4 weeks since I placed my order. This company is unscrupulus at best and should be called "conning passion". They should be put out of business. That they can have my money for three weeks and not bother to let me know where my items are, or even respond to my e-mails, is beyond belief."

haven't received anything yet : No tracking and no status on the customer page it's unacceptable!
i emailed them 3 or 4 times before getting an answer and they said : "an item had to be reordered and you order will ship this week"
on their site they say : if any delay we contact you! I had to ask them to get an aswer!!! now..normally my package has been send..I hope for them to get it in the next 10-15 days..

"I ordered a hat from cartoonpassion in October 05. Like others have said, they were paid then and there. A couple of weeks passed and the item still had not been received. I emailed them and after a few days they wrote back and said the item was backordred. Fine. I'll wait a little while. Still nothing after another few weeks. Finally in December I called them and they said the item was still backordered. I asked to cancel the order, which they did. HOWEVER, they did not issue me a refund. I called them back after Christmas in January and again asked them for the refund, which they said they would give, but it would take a few days to show up. It didn't show up. I called them back in early Feb. and they said they must have had a merchant bank problem and they'd issue the refund right away. Two weeks later I still don't have the refund. I called Visa today and issued a consumer complaint against them. I have emailed them, called them, faxed them, nothing. They are absolutely unprofessional and don't have a clue how to run a business. I want everyone to know about how they work so they don't have the same problems I had."
"Having ordered many things online, I can say this was the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I finally received my order about six weeks after placing it- after having to place several requests for status update. Even so, when my order shipped, one of the items was not included. I was told that item was still on backorder- but could get another item, wait for the original item, or get a refund. TWICE I have requested a refund, and that was almost 30 days ago- and I still have not received my refund for that item... after two requests for it. "
""We ship after we received payment." This is what it states under "Info" on their website. I ordered an import CD and paid directly through Paypal on Feb. 22 which means they received payment right then and there.
After about a week I got worried since I hadn't received the CD and the store and I are in the same state. It shouldn't take this long. So I emailed them to ask the status. They responded 2 days later saying that their whole staff was out and they're severely backed up. Great way to run a business. They state that they'll have the CD shipped by the end of the week. Fair enough ...
2 weeks later, I still haven't received the CD. So I email them again. 3 days later, and there's still no response. Now it's almost been 3 weeks of waiting and I still haven't received my CD. It definately does not take 3 weeks to ship a CD from the Los Angeles area to the San Francico Bay Area.
I would definately STAY AWAY FROM www.CartoonPassion.com at all costs. They run a poor business, if you can even call it that. Everything about this experience was horrible."
