"I placed quite a large order (about 100€) with Casabento. The shipping service Casabento employed took it upon themselves to return the parcel halfway. I wrote back and forth with them a bit and when they refused to take care of a new delivery I decided I didn't want anything from a shop that ships through them. I was confident that when the order was returned to Casabento, they would not book the money from my credit card. They did.
I wrote to their customer service and got no answer. Two days later I wrote again and got no answer. They have effectively stolen my money and don't even answer my messages.
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOBODY SHOP THERE!!!"

"My old review is below, but I am updating because CasaBento agreed to ship me my order again. I received it, and am satisfied. I will do business with them again, as my problem was rectified. Plus, the prices and selection on CasaBento are awesome. It is a legit, great place to buy bento items.

I was at first impressed with the professional setup and different language options available for their site. Their website gave off the appearance of being professional and easy-to-use. However, after I placed my order, things became sketchy.
First off, they didn't have the option for U.S. customers to order a tracking number for their shipping.
Second, a month passed by, and I received nothing. There was an e-mail the next day saying they had shipped the items, but nothing came.
So, I contacted customer service using their "contact us" form online. I received no reply to my first inquiry.
Then, I tried again, along with leaving a comment about my order on my order summary page.
Then I received a reply stating they had once replied already (though I checked my spam folder to no avail) and that there was no tracking number, but to check my post office.
So I checked my post office. Nothing.
Obviously I will never do business with CasaBento again. I'll stick with ebay, which I've had more luck with."
"This is the first time I used the company and was far from impressed with them. The items were not delivered and after a week, I contacted via email since there is no telephone number for customer services, to follow up. Even though they were quick to reply to my email, I was told the items may have got lost or stolen and that it would now take a further couple of weeks for the order to arrive since the items were now out of stock! They did not give me the option of a full refund and I had to request this from them. I raised a dispute claim with pay pal and this seemed to get the ball rolling to the point I was told the items were now back in stock having being told different only a couple of days before. By this time, I just wanted a full refund and this was eventually done in the end. It felt one way with communications though my emails did get responded to, no one apologised for what happened and if Pay pal hadn't been an option to pay for the goods, I'm not sure I would have been able to claim my money back. Personally I wouldn't use this company again."
