"I bought a cell phone from www.cellhut.com in October. In the website it was advertised that the phone is unlocked. I was charged 39.99. Once I received the cell phone, I tried to put my T-Mobile SIM card in it, and found out it did not recognize that SIM card at all. I searched for networks available, and it showed only ATT as the available network. Since I have a contract with TMobile, I could not use the item, that is why I requested to return the cell phone as defective, since it did not work as it was advertised. My request was accepted, however I was told to pay for shipping back the defective item myself. Anyway, I accepted to pay for it, since I could not use the cell phone. Once the return was processed I saw that they refunded me only 33.99.
Once I called the customer service, i was told that there is a 15% restock fee. I asked where is this written as a policy, since you do not have it published. Besides, the item was defective, and there should not be a fee for defective items. The lady hang up the phone.
I am out of $15 for a defective item that cost $39.99, and the customer representative was rude enough to hang the phone without answering the questions."
"I pre-ordred a Galaxy Tab and waited as I should.
A few weeks later, Cellhut decided to cancel my order, they did not even have the courtesy of telling me or asking what I wanted to do. I just found out today as I checked the status of the order (online).
They have my credit card info etc... I hope they now won't "unilaterally", once again, decide to do something else with that information (without telling me).
I guess I will have to cancel that credit card.
Very disappointed with them.
I will never order again from them!

"I rate this store the worse customer service ever. I purchase a MacBook pro clear case and cellhut sent me a wrong case. Immediately, I follow their proceedure to request for return/exchange I required to request a RMA number first( I don't know any company have a procedure like this for return) so I follow the instruction and complete all the steps until the last step is click request RMA tab, nothing happen it almost like they did that on purpose. I immediately contact them to let them know about the RMA issues, after put on a wait more then an hour a representative(heavy Indian accent lady) pick up my call with the worse attitude I have ever experience before. I explain my situation and request for exchange/return she keep insist I need to follow instruction on their return policy. I told her I did that several time and there were problem with the last step of submit. I then asked her if she help me with the return/exchange service, she immediately become very irratated and rude then hang up on me. Thinking calling back to cuss her out an hour of waiting is not worth it. I decided to send several emails to their several email address explaining my situation and requesting for a return/exchange on 10/21/2010 until now I haven't get one reply back. Now I'm stuck with a piece of junk and they avoid of giving back my money. I highly believe they are avoiding my request intentionally. This cellhut.com store is a crook buyer beware! They will send you a wrong cheap junk and avoid giving back your money or exchange in the most absurd way. Beware buyer! Beware! "
"Don't purchase anything from these people! Your credit card info is NOT safe with them! I made a pre-order for the new Samsung Galaxy Tab that has yet to start shipping at the time of this review. After I gave them my credit card number I started getting fraudulent charges and had to work with my bank to cancel the card and replace it. Cellhut was the only place I used that card and I am certain that they were the cause. To make matters worse I noticed when I visited the cellhut.com site days later the price had gone up $300 from what I had paid for my pre-order, I was glad to have gotten in before the price went up until I got an email from them canceling my order because the item is "sold out". So tell me, how can a product that hasn't started shipping yet be sold out? I'll tell you, its not. They just didn't want to sell it to me at the agreed price so they concocted the week out of stock lie (In My Opinion). Do not trust them!"
"I’ve purchased my phone 2 years ago along with a 4 years warranty plan . The phone arrived with the bilingual keyboard- English and Chinese , so texting was a real headache since every button has at least 7 characters printed on it. According to the software installed it came from Hong-Kong . All installed software was in Chinese so it made it pretty useless.
Three weeks ago the phone was sent to cellhut.com for repair (3rd time with the same problem) and since then I have no idea what’s going on. I tried to contact the company by phone and was assured someone was going to call me back the same day with updates. Needless to say no one called back. I’ve tried many times with no success. I e-mailed the company many times-still no answer, they just ignored it. Lately the customer service don’t even bother to answer. Yesterday I spent 1hr trying to get a representative- no one answered. It looks like I'll never get my phone back. SCAM COMPANY! STAY AWAY FROM IT!!! Better Business Bureau rates it F- !!!). Resellerratings.com rates it 3.56/10. Today I filled a complaint with the Consumer Affairs.
**UPDATE** Two days after the review was published I was contacted by the cellhut.com. They apologized for a delay and informed me that my phone was lost and they were sending me a new one. The phone arrived the next day and it was new. So I guess they do read the reviews and take steps to resolve problems and improve. "

Cellhut has the BEST prices and the FASTEST shipping. I wouldn't buy a cell phone from anyone else!"
"Ordered a Verizon phone from Cellhut.com. The phone was shipped with an incorrect battery. I called up the customer service number to find out options for obtaining the battery. The representative was extremely rude. She refused to give me her customer rep number or transfer me to her supervisor. The only suggested option was to RMA the phone and they would consider not charging me the restocking fee ! Poor packaging, and poor customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM CELLHUT.COM"

"CELLHUT IS A FRAUD. They withheld $40 from my refund after advising me to return the defective cell. I called to inquire about why $40, I was told it was a 25% restocking fee... why I asked if your Technician advised me to return the phone after troubleshooting because it wasn't working, she said the technician left notes that the cell was working. I asked to talk to a Supervisor and commented these sounds fraudulent to me. The customer service rep (in India) told me she was a Supervisor, I asked for her Manager, she refused. I remarked that I would report CellHut to the Better Business Bureau.
Why would I return a working unlocked Blackberry and opt for a cheapy upgrade from my provider when I could have saved myself the headache and get a free upgrade in the first place from my provider? FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD, BEWARE!
BTW, please, please keep an eye on your credit/debit card activity. I had 4 fraudulent transactions totaling $1,500 (Microsoft and Frogster purchases) on my credit card the same day the partial refund hit my account. I mentioned this to the Customer Service Rep... this is when she hung on me. "

"Terrible customer service. I ordered a phone on 9/10/2010 (a Friday). The site advises a processing time of 2 business days. My order remained unprocessed by Wednesday of the next week, so I sent an email to customer service to ask if there was a problem. No reply to this email. So on Friday 9/17 I called customer service. I spoke to a quite surly woman on the phone who said that it was because the item was not in stock. No explanation was forthcoming as to why I'd not been informed of that. I cancelled my order and asked again why no one had communicated with me. She hung up."
