"We purchased the multi-region plan as we had to travel between China and Hong Kong. It was wonderful as we don’t have to look for and return the device each time we leave for the different region. The coverage was good and we didn’t have any issues. We had a total of 4 devices using the unit. The battery life was amazing.
We received the unit well in advanced of our trip and the return process was good.
I will definitely use them again."

"The first time I rented a basic cell phone (Portugal) I was pleased to see I could use Wifi and a browser and get email so I rented one a second time(Italy) and the phone was locked out of any use beside phone calls and text. Unfortunately it was Saturday before a holiday weekend and I couldn't reach anyone at cello til Tuesday at which point they quickly and courteously told me how to unlock the phone. But in the meantime it had hindered me making arrangements so I was very annoyed. They said they started doing that because they were trying to simplify it for people but maybe they could ask before hand. Otherwise it got to me on time, worked fine and is reasonably priced. Other people on my trip were paying $10/day for the use of their phone from home which was pricier although I think they got cell data service which I didn't."

"Long story short (hopefully), the last time I traveled someone stole my passport along with credit cards, ATM, iPhone, and cash. It was a bit of a nightmare but after navigating through 2 US Consulates i was able to obtain an emergency passport so that I could exit the country I was in. Emergency passports are good for 1 year but little did I know that some countries, that would normally let you get a visa upon arrival, actually require you to get a visa before leaving the US IF you have an emergency, or limited passport. There I was, stuck at the airport with no place to go realizing I would be forfeiting all the money I spent on accommodations and quite possibly the $200 I spent on renting a mobile wifi unit from Cello Mobile. I took a chance and wrote a letter explaining the situation, after all I never even turned the unit on, but I read the fine print, "no refunds once the unit has been shipped." I was surprised and pleased by an email I got from Cello saying that with supervisor approval, considering this unique situation and because I have been and will continue to be a loyal customer, I was given 50% of the cost of this rental to be used towards my next rental which I definitely will be taking advantage of, later this year! I have had nothing but good experiences with Cello mobile wifi units, I never had a problem with the equipment, they have always arrived on time and worked great. I have only needed to contact customer service a couple of times and they were always positive experiences. I really appreciate their treatment. I got two other traveling friends hooked on Cello as well! "

"I rented a smart phone from Cello Mobile while traveling in Australia. I wanted it primarily for emergencies, as I'd have a rental car and would be driving several hours outside of Sydney. It was a last-minute order, but the phone arrived before I left, complete with the appropriate adapter, charger, and fanny pack. I had several questions about the phone before I traveled and a few after I received it, and all were answered fairly quickly by e-mail. I ended up using the phone several times to call local relatives who I was going to visit as well as looking for nearby places to eat. The phone worked well, and thankfully I didn't have any actual emergencies."
