"Their customer service is excellent. Unfortunately, they only got one of the guns in stock. When I received the notification that they got it back in stock, I went to the website and purchased it. Someone else entered an order at the same time and due to the almost simultaneous purchase, the website allowed my order to go through. They called me that day to inform me of their error. They refunded the money to my credit card and let me keep the rewards points that I received for the purchase. They said they were going to try and find another one and not put it on the website until they gave me first chance to purchase it, but I have not heard anything on that. If it were not for the fact that I want the gun before Christmas and a major gun show is this weekend, I would probably wait until they got another one in stock and purchase from them. "

"I bought a Mossberg 500 Persuader from CenterfireGuns, they had the best price I could find, free shipping, and they did all the work to communicate and get the paperwork from my FFL. All I had to do was sit back and wait which wasn't very long as my gun arrived at my FFL 2 days later after I ordered. "Best firearm online store I've ever seen.

There are at least three things that other websites or FFLs can't beat:

1. Price. You can NOT find better deals from others. Other websites, either the price are more expensive or they have "cheaper price" but actually those are all "in stock" scams; Buy/order guns from dealers (that I did several time before), though it is reliable, the retail price is always higher since the dealer has to make money on it, also, retail sales require a considerable amount of tax, which is not required in the internet transaction.

2. Convenience. Centerfireguns did excellent service. They actually took care of almost everything. After I placed my order online with my preferred FFL info, they directly contacted my FFL to verify, and then shipped the gun to the FFL. All that I did was just sitting in front of the computer and notified by email that the gun had been shipped. With the tracking number they provided, it was easy to know when the gun had arrived.

3. This is probably what the most of internet buyers care most, the processing and shipping. The whole process was so smooth and fast, it only took them less than a week to finish the verification and shipping. I'm in California, after 10-days waiting period, which is required by California DOJ, I picked up the gun, the shipping package was in excellent condition, no damage no missing item.

So these are the three good things that hard to beat. Besides, they have some other reputations, for example: they only charge your credit card after the verification completed, right before shipping, (most of “in stock” scam websites, on the other hand, immediately charge your credit card after you place the order). So on and so forth. And lastly the website design is very neat and professional too, I've already bookmarked it as my primary firearm/ammo site for my ordering in the future, and I will definitely refer this website to my friends who are planning to buy guns or ammos.

"I ordered a Mossberg 100 ATR rifle with a Mossy Oak camo stock in .30-06 from these guys. Placing the the order on their website couldn't be easier!

The ordering process includes a list of local FFLs so you can select who you want to do the transfer with, and they contacted the local FFL to arrange the transfer, all without my involvement (though I still called the FFL anyways to ensure things would go smoothly, which was good because the local FFL lost Centerfire Gun's fax number, so I gave it to them again).

I was sent an update email once the rifle was shipped and a final invoice after that as well (though there was no initial order email, but logging onto their website allowed me to follow the order as it progressed). I ordered on Friday the 21st and they shipped via FedEx Ground it on the Tuesday 25th, not a bad turn-around.

The rifle was as described and everything one would expect from a brand new in-the-box item. The price was the absolute best I could find on the Internet or locally for the rifle model I purchased, and with the free shipping and no tax it was an INCREDIBLE deal!

I'm a very happy camper, this online purchase went perfectly, I intend to make future purchases from these guys as well!

Their prices for the Mossberg 500 Persuader and HK45c that I purchased were lower than any where else even before shipping and credit card charges are considered.

Their customer service was also excellent and will contact the FFL dealer for you if they don't already have the FFL on file. It is also very easy to find which FFLs they already have on file. "This was my first time ordering from this website so I did not know what to expect. I received my order on time however the item did not match one the key specific I was looking for so I emailed them back. I got a quick response from Neil who promised to look into it and send me a free replacement. They talked to their supplier who apparently provided the incorrect information so unfortunately a replacement magazine for that capacity could not be provided. However Neil did offer to give me a $40 credit or a $40 refund due to the situation. I was really suprised that Neil went the extra mile in trying to achieve customer satisfaction.
