"I ordered from them , they cancelled my order and told me to just reorder it , I did that and they again canceled my order and then doubled the price for the product , what kind of place does something like that ?"
"I ordered a table and chair set from Central Restaurant Products on August 26, 2021, and I have yet to receive the chairs. Only the table arrived in about two weeks, with large gashes in the top. Central Restaurant initially confirmed that it had accidentally shipped the chairs to an incorrect address in another state, despite sending the table to our correct address. But since this initial confirmation, we have struggled to have them correct this mistake for over two months. No one calls back, chats end with empty promises that they will "make this right" and follow up with no result, and all the while they have had our $2,000 and we've only received a damaged table. Today, after giving them two additional weeks to sort out their order tracking and logistical issues concerning the lost chairs, my simple chat inquiry asking for an update ended with a single line, all caps, that the lost order was "SHIPPING TODAY," then the chat was closed. No tracking number provided, no apology that our order was delayed for two months, and no acknowledgment that we've had to make a dozen calls, emails, and chat inquiries for simple updates on our long-paid-for order. Just plain rudeness and indifference after we've been understanding throughout the process. We were hopeful to use Central Restaurant for our upcoming furniture needs, but after this experience, I cannot justify subjecting myself to such indifference and incompetence again. Incredibly disappointed--find a trusted vendor elsewhere for your needs. "

"My sales rep sent me wrong info on a freezer I wanted to know about. Then, after I ordered my $3,000 freezer, I was sent the wrong tracking info. Then, I couldn’t get the correct shipping info which lead me to rely on my sales rep for the info. I FINALLY had to call the shipping company myself for the correct info because my sales rep had an issue with being on hold with the shipping company for over 20 min. Then when I had chat with customer service, they totally missed the point about the horrible customer service they provided and wanted to give me a $150 credit for merchandise from them. I declined. What makes them think I would want to do business with them after all of this???
Stay clear of them unless you want to do their job for them!!! My food truck has been on hold and I have had to cancel numerous appts due to Central Restaurants NOT taking care of their customers!!!!! Time and money lost!!!!

"I ordered a fridge from them, which was sent promptly & I had no problems. Then I ordered another shelf & metal brackets. Order took 3 weeks to arrive with no updates on the account page ( it always said that it was un-shipped). I called to find out what was going on, talked to a rep who said he would call me back but never did. When the order finally arrived I received the wrong shelf & plastic brackets. I opened an online chat session to ask about it & they just gave me the email address of another rep. When i contacted them he said I received the right brackets & that they don't even make metal brackets, even though the pictures clearly were of metal ones. I have emailed him about the shelf & hopefully they will fix that issue. So far the only reason they have any starts is because of the fridge."

"Ordered a simple $389 butcher block table the first week in September. Website said estimated 11 days for delivery. Got a catalogue in the mail, but nothing about a table. I emailed Central Restaurant, and they told me that the table has to be made and shipment would be expected September 29....with eleven days for shipping, that's about six weeks from order to delivery. There was NO INFORMATION on this delay until I asked."
