"My 30 year old Nutone exhaust fan died - It had circular base as part of the housing and every fan nowadays has a rectangular housing. Replacing the old fan with a new one would require a lot of ceiling patching. You tube showed how to just change out an old motor with a new motor (a lot cheaper and very easy to do). I typed in the model number and Central Vacuum appeared with a thorough description. I ordered the motor and it arrived in a short time - installed in 10 minutes from inside the bathroom and good for another 30 years. So inexpensive and easy to do. "

"Wrong item sent after unannounced backorder. Finally received package after 2 weeks, but it was wrong hose!
The CSR was pleasant and reassuring on the phone. She said they would ship out a new unit ASAP, and I could just ship back the unit when I had a moment to get to the UPS store... But reality was much different. I was required to get the package back to their location before they would correct the problem. At least they sent a shipping label!
It took over a month to get my new vacuum hose. Should have taken less than a week. Terrible customer service for a small business."
"the part of a ordered was not in stock it was on backorder. I found this information out after two weeks from the estimated delivery day by calling the company. It would have been nice for someone to drop me an e-mail and explain this to me up front instead of making me call the company. Once I got a new delivery date the part arrived within 3 days of that date. I will probably buy from this company again and would probably recommend this company but you need to work on your communication issues and customer service. On a positive side the right part came in and it works well."

"I ordered an item from Central Vacuum Stores on 8/2/19. That same day Amazon Pay confirmed that my order had been processed and that my payment was complete. From that I assumed that the item had been shipped. Since I did not receive a confirmation of shipping I contacted them on 8/8/19 and was told that the item was on back order and would not ship for another 15 days. This information was not on their website or order confirmation. The money was charged on the day the order was placed which is highly unusual. Most reputable vendors will only charge when the order ships and any professional vendor would have informed the customer that the item was not in stock immediately. I asked for a refund and will avoid this vendor in future. They need to communicate with the customer and only charge after shipping!"

Roger was very responsive & knowledgeable about what we needed & we received our system quickly. We were encouraged to call with any installation questions & we did. Appreciated all the help. Also told an Intrasonic door camera was coming out for our system which we wanted. We were notified by Central Vacuum when it became available & have added it to our system. Happy with price, service & delivery on both orders."
"I ordered a kit containing a hose, power head and accessories. I ordered a couple weeks before Mother's Day thinking that would be plenty of time to get it since it was a gift. After a week and no communication I contacted the company. They informed me that they had to order some of the components and they only make that order once a week. Needless to say the items didn't make it in time for Mother's Day. As far as the components are concerned I am happy with those."
