"I placed an order for 3 different sized Wera adjustable spanners on 5/21/20. On 5/27/20 I was checking my order and contacted them via their online messenger asking if the items where in stock. It was then that I realized I made a mistake in the order and ordered a 13" box fixed spanner instead of the 13" adjustable. I immediately contacted them that day, before anything was shipped, via online messenger, email, and voice message asking for an order adjustment requesting that the 13" fixed box be replaced with the 13" adjustable. The response I got back via online messenger was that items are back ordered because they are very popular and things are slow from Covid and they could partial ship as the largest adjustable spanner was allocated. I replied back that partial ship is not necessary and that I really need to get the proper tools so what is the status of the item replacement? No response to the switching of the wrong ordered item. On 5/29/20 contacted them again via messenger asking for an update on my order replacement request. No response. On 6/4/20, going on 2 weeks now, I contacted them again via messenger saying if I didn't hear back from them by COB 6/4/20, I wanted my order cancelled. On 6/5/20 I get an email saying that they partial shipped the 13" fixed spanner; the item I requested be replaced and didn't want. It was my mistake ordering the wrong item, however, for them to ignore my replacement request and then when I tell them I want to cancel the order, the next day they partial ship the item I don't want. On 6/13/20, going on 3 weeks now, I contact them and tell them that I want my order cancelled. On 6/15/20 they respond acknowledging my cancelled order and then say that things are on their way to them. On 6/18/20, they ship another item on the cancelled order. I have contacted them via both online messenger and email telling them anything they ship on the cancelled order is not my responsibility. For now, I have the wrong item (which I'm going to pay for since the hassle cost to return it is more than item's worth) and they are still shipping items on a cancelled order. I have contacted my bank and placed the resolution of this debacle in the banks' hands by disputing the outstanding charges."

I ordered a small order from them (less than $50) a few months back, and had no problems, apart from the order's existence not unverified through their site until after I received it, but no big deal; I felt confident in shopping with them again. Mistake.
While I was trying to see what my order would cost with shipping in the last few steps before checkout, I didn't realize that the "next" button was immediately to cash out. I tried in vain to cance this unwanted order, which was paid for through Amazon Pay, but somehow my order didn't exist until after it had shipped, which apparently happened immediately. When I messaged them so as to initiate the return process, especially since, with expedited shipping, it was still cheaper on Amazon, the link they sent me for returns was nothing but an error message. Now they don't respond to phone calls, or their "instant" messaging g system. I'm still in limbo waiting for a response to my return request.

I guess that forced them to address the fact that they took my money and never shipped out the product.
So they finally shipped the goods. If you want to be ignored,

"Purchased a $20 item on their website, received and found not what I expected, on my own dime shipped back new and unused. Chadstoolbox in Palmer AK received in three days. With no email notification or anything on the return status, I emailed them with a reply that $20 was issued as my store credit. I specifically indicated refund to be applied to original payment. However no further replies from them at all afterwards. Thank God we have PayPal taken care of this after opening a dispute with usps tracking number. This company has a useless contact phone number and a worthless live chat. This was my first order and definitely my last one for sure. I cannot believe in this day and age there are still online shady companies like this shortchanging us end users. I am done with them. See ya and never again wanna be ya!"
"I just ordered a big ticket (for me) item from Chad's...I found these reviews after the fact and became concerned whether it would work out. I have to say that everything went smoothly. I had a tracking question that was promptly and politely answered and the item showed up exactly as the man said it would. I have to assume that all the negative reviews here are either someone with a personal beef that has nothing to do with business, or people are expecting this guy to be Amazon.com, which he is not and shouldn't be...great experience and would order again."
"Purchased some Knipex pliers back on June 10. Package was delivered to the wrong address, which is not the sellers fault, but the way the whole thing has been handled since has been extremely frustrating and absolutely not worth the few bucks I saved on the price.
On June 30th, Chad said he would open an inquiry with USPS. According to him, he still has not heard back as of July 19th.
I did my own inquiry with USPS. I reached out to them on July 2nd and heard back on July 5th. Do the math.
USPS confirmed that the package was shipped to the wrong address, provided a call back name and number, and offered to speak directly with Chad to answer any questions he may have.
I communicated this to Chad on July 9th but he refuses to reach out to them, stating that he needs to hear back from them himself.
I have tried calling ChadStoolbox to get this resolved but they do not answer calls and they do not return voice messages.
I have exchanged 30+ emails with Chad but I keep getting the run around.
It has been over 5 weeks, I still have not received my product, nor is there any clarity as to how or when this will be resolved.
I have literally spent hours on this and it is still ongoing!
The facts are that the package has been confirmed to have been shipped to the wrong address, but Chad will not recognize that and take care of the customer.
I wish I did my research first and looked at all the horrible reviews for this place. Save yourself the headache and buy from a reputable store. "

"Ordered a set of Knipex pliers online, after two weeks (estimated delivery date) I tried to get a tracking number but was told that the pliers were not in stock and they were waiting for a shipment from Germany. I asked for a number to call and was given one via email but all calls went straight to voicemail. Despite requesting numerous times an update on my purchase, and the chance to speak to someone about it, I was informed that they only communicate via email. I asked for an apology and compensation for being messed around and received neither and my order was cancelled against my request. Do not deal with this company, terrible communication, and still no product or apology. "
