"I have never had a problem with Chapters. I do all my shopping for novels there and every single time I have received my order in good condition. It's really easy to track your order and know the shipping status. The shipping is usually within the estimate given, occasionally, I've even received my order earlier than anticipated. I recommend Chapters to anyone interested. The prices are fair (cheapest that I know of), the tracking simple and the shipping average."
"Chapters is as awful as Ticketmaster when it comes to their pricing. If you order a book online, you can expect to get a discount off the cover price (I have seen some pretty dramatic discounts), but when you visit one of their retail stores you pay the full cover price for going there and picking it up yourself. Can I order a book online for the discounted cover price and pick it up at the store? NO. No one at their retail stores seem to be able to explain the difference in pricing. If you shop at Chapters/Indigo, be expected to be ripped off compared to having the book shipped to you.
I will never shop there again."

"Never had a problem with this company until very recently. Received a damaged, soiled and obviously store-perused item via mail-order. This was to be a gift to someone and I obviously wasn't going to offer it to the person with it looking like that. When I returned it to their main store this morning, I was told "oh, it was manufactured that way". Yes, I'm sure it was-it's a great publisher's tactic to manufacture and sell things that look beat up and dirty. Terrible attitude from the store clerk, who was more interested in answering telephone calls than dealing with live customers in front of him. I hope this isn't a trend; this company can't afford to start losing customers. Wake up, Chapters/Indigo; can't you hear the march of Amazon approaching, ready to stomp you out of the market?!"
"This is a store that has always has the best prices and availability for books. This was my fourth order from them in past three years. The book was shipped quickly. "
