"All in all I love the design and would recommend it to others based on that. However, the item arrived damaged. Nothing too major, but when spending that much money I hoped to get a mint condition item. The problems were all the corners (some worse than others were banged up, chipped paint and slightly crushed wood. The interior of the drawer that housed the hardware was also scratched up. All of this could have been avoided with proper packing. The package that it arrived in, was made of the thinnest, cheapest looking cardboard I have ever seen. There were sheets of styrofoam between some ares of the taboret and box, however it too was thin, soft, useless and did nothing to protect the majority of the item.

I immediately called customer service who blamed everything on the shipping company, and claimed they have had continuous problems with them. I personally believe that the problem has 90% to do with Cheap Joe's and 10% with the freight company. The customer service person was very friendly and sent me a 10% discount card for my next order, although taking responsibility for the packing would have helped soften the blow.

Overall - I love the design, and would recommend it to others. Although I would make sure that Cheap Joe's sort out their packaging first.
