"As a couple other users have commented, this website is a scam. They have the same rates as other websites except they charge you an extra fee which others do not. They also state they have a low price guarantee but when confronted with it, they will not match a lower price.

"CheapOStay is a scam, nothing more. I've tried to make a hotel reservation through them, because they offered a $15 discount. They did, but wanted to charge me $50 in "taxes and fees". All taxes and fees were already included in the hotel price, no other agency charged anything extra for this reservation. If I would place an order with them, the one night in this hotel would cost me about $25 more then with any other agency.
It seems that they just using the other agencies for booking and charge their fess, then trying to lure you by offering "discounts" and hiding their "taxes and fees" until the last moment. Then hire some people to write the good reviews about them."

Wonder what fees/taxes were actually included since there was a section that included in my payment for those a high amount one at that. Basically got charged an extra 16$ for a 2 night stay, non-responsive customer service. Employees had no clue what they are doing or talking about. Asked for a breakdown of my charges they couldn't provide me with one. Pretty much a scam in my opinion. Most likely paid the full amount to the hotel which shouldnt' have even charged me and $15 for booking through cheapostay on top of it."
