"It can be a little scary when choosing to send a coded Module off to be repaired ,I was trying to figure out which company to go with being such a critical component to my car! After reading cheapAbs website and hearing things like he repairs other people's solder mistakes I decided to go with him and Am Happy I did!! I shipped the module and I was able to track it and showed delivered to him - it stayed with him about a week and then he shipped it back , I'm guessing he repairs several of them and and ships them all at the same time which is understandable, in a 4 wheel drive Audi a abs module would be the brains of the car . .this would control the complete handling and driving of the car including wheel spin, wheel braking, and many many other things including the speedometer, when I put the Abs module in my speedometer and traction control lights was fixed!! It also fixed wheel speed sensor codes - those were gone as well!! I had clutch input signal codes- those were gone! My manual car shifts better due to the clutch input messing up inside this module he repaired!! I highly recommend this company and he seems to have a lot of experience repairing this stuff! I have a 2003 Audi a4 3.0 manual. "

"The service, quality of work, and overall experience was great. Hassle free and no problems whatsoever. Once the Module arrived, I threw it on the car asap. I still had my service engine soon light (which was caused by the module), but after clearing all codes and modules, my dash has been light-free on my e39 wagon!! It's been almost 4-500 miles since and no problems at all. Great quality of work and a really great price.

The ONLY thing that I should suggest that can be improved (not worthy of dropping any rating) is if the communication can be a little more improved. I asked a question on his site and he replied promptly which was great.. But after packaging it, sending it, and messaging him through email that I sent it, I didn't get any sort of reply or confirmation that he received it or that he started working on it. Now, I did get a confirmation email from FedEx that it arrived, but my mind was playing with thoughts that maybe someone stole the box from his porch and he never received it, etc.. I sent the package on a Monday and it reached him Thursday evening. It was a holiday weekend so I expected it to take a little longer than expected, so I didn't expect it to arrive till around the next Wednesday. But I heard nothing and still had no idea what was going on. I decided that if I don't receive it by Thursday (Now a week after being with him), or at least hear from him, I would contact him. Luckily the module came in Thursday evening, so it saved me the embarrassment. Again, it's not worthy to drop a rating because his work is great and does what he says he'll do which is all I can ask for, but a little communication would be nice for peace of mind.

"Best money spent. Matt fixed the module and resent next day.. It arrived a day earlier then expected and was able to put back together in time for daughter to take back to school. Had 2 different auto tech scan vehicle and had no idea how to go about fixing it other then order a new abs unit for about $1000...Even if in doubt take out the module(very easy) and ship to Matt(cheap-abs) he will repair it with accompanying paper work or refund money if he didn't have to do the repair.
It is always skeptic when dealing with the internet but they are the REAL DEAL.....

"Excellent service and at a great price. Symptoms on my E39 BMW were DSC, ABS, & BRAKE warning indicators lit while driving, and after a couple of days only the DSC indicator remained lit.
ABS Diagnostics showed 1 Fault Code: DSC5.7 - 58: Precharging pump (fault code decimal 88).
Matt at Cheap-ABS Inc responded to my inquiry on the same day, with order form and instructions. My Bosch module was delivered back in 1 week, all lights are now gone, and system is fully working. Matt also included a report which confirmed he was able to repair the module, and I see there's an option he would check if the module was not repairable in which case he would make a refund.
